This movie is action packed. Goes to show women can also pull together and hold these type of positions to get what needs to be done. Highly recommend it!

Great Sci Fi Movie
9 February 2022
Please ignore those who gave it a low rating. People tend to compare one movie to another. This movie had a great story line and plot. Great cast as well. Even though it's a movie, I still don't believe we are the only beings in this universe. Yes, you somewhat knew what was going to happen at one point, but it still was an excellent movie.
Safe Space
(2022)
If you are looking or a good thriller, watch.
29 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
It's a very good thriller and would have rated it higher; however, there are some scenes that just didn't make any sense at all where I had to literally just shake my head and say "seriously." 1) who allows a child to have a video set up to look into other people houses; 2) what was the purpose of putting the camera in the bean bag; 3) if you're going to yell you are being held against your will, say how many people are in the house; 4) why didn't the cop call for back up before entering the residence.

Action Packed -- Non-Stop Action!!
2 May 2021
First, let me say I did not read the book. Over the years, any book I've read that was made into a tv or movie, were never the same which is why I don't compare. If I read the book first, I try to avoid the movie. If I were to see the movie first, I then read up on the difference from the book. Based on me not reading the book, I truly enjoyed this movie. I love action movies, especially action-packed, non stop. This movie fits that category. The special effects were awesome as well as the acting. This is not a spoiler because he's said it in interviews and you can google search it but just in case you weren't aware, it makes it even more exciting because Michael P. Jordan did all of his own stunts.
Sylvie's Love
(2020)
Truly a beautiful love story
15 February 2021
Great acting by all, especially Tessa Thompson and Nnamdi Asomugha. I knew that Tessa was a great actor, but even though I knew who Nnamdi was, never saw him in a movie before. He was awesome too. Love the wisdom that Sylvie's cousin, Mona, provided because I was thinking the same thing at that point as well. This movie also proves that Regé-Jean Page is a versatile actor. First saw him in Roots several years ago, then most recently, in Bridgerton.
Funny with a Serious Story Line
13 August 2020
I love this movie but haven't seen it in years. Loved it back then and still love it. I actually love this one out of all of the Big Momma movies as this is the only one I would repeatedly watch. For the past week, I kept singing/humming some of the words from the "Baby You Know" song. Totally forgot it came from this movie until I decided to search for the lyrics the other day. I then went on On Demand, found it, and watched it. Was scrolling through my channels this evening and saw that it was on, so watched it again. Unfortunately, just came across an article that Brandon T. Jackson regretted playing that role. I don't know why because I loved how he had to go undercover in disguised. It's funny even though there are a couple of serious messages in it.

Great Movie - Action From Beginning to End
11 July 2020
This movie is great. Decided to do a Netflix day. It was the very first movie recommended, so clicked on it. Glad I did. Not sure why some are giving it a low rating. Then again, each person has their own opinion. All of the actors are great. Some things I didn't see coming but others I did, but still a great movie. If you like non-stop action, this is a must see!
Abducted
(2018)
I Enjoyed it!
15 May 2020
Not sure why people are giving it 1 star. I truly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Was no way given any hints about who the abductors were until we even found out. I love action movies, especially when a love one is looking for a family member who was abducted.

Another Great Faith-Based Movie
19 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoy watching faith-based movies and how they come together. In this case, I get the title. It was like a full circle and GOD directing them all back together again even though they never actually met. I did have two issues: 1) why didn't the lady call the police once the child showed up at her door with no adults; that child has been missing for a week; 2) I am very particular when people touch raw meat and don't wash their hands before touching someone or something else. Eww. With that said, it was a great movie and shows GOD will allow those some people would look down upon and use them as "angels." Eli had one thing in mind, but GOD had something else.
Kids Say the Darndest Things
(2019–2021)
Family Friendly Show
19 November 2019
I'm not understanding why there are so many low ratings/reviews for this show. However, when I looked at the dates of those reviews, many must have posted after the first 2 shows aired. It's not all about Tiffany. It is more about the kids; but obviously she has to ask them questions in order for them to respond. It's just that she uses different platforms (i.e. the regular one (on stage in front of a live audience), hidden camera, in her office, meeting children outside, etc.). So apparently everyone must want her to just only stay in the studio on the stage with the kids in front of a live audience. I love watching it every week.
Terminator: Dark Fate
(2019)
Confused??
13 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I thought John Connor lived until he was in his 20s/30s and the Terminator (Arnold's character) helped keep him safe. Remember he helped John break his mom out of the hospital? In this movie, John is killed while still that same teenager by Arnold's Terminator. What did I miss? If I wasn't aware of the other Terminator movies, I would say it's action packed and a good story. The timeline just doesn't make sense at all which is why I gave it a 7 rating.
Harriet

Great Movie
5 November 2019
I'm not understanding why so many people are hating on this movie. Show me a movie based on the life of a real person where the entire movie is 100% factual. I thought it did depict what I have read about Harriet Tubman in books, online, and what I actually read when I visited the Harriet Tubman museums/visitor center in Church Creek, MD, and Cambridge, MD. It was not poorly done. I loved it and highly recommend it!

Comedy and Action All in One Movie
18 June 2019
I enjoyed it. As the movie went on, it all came together. Funny lines as well as being serious when the movie needed to be. Not understanding how people didn't like it. It was a SHAFT movie. I got it, and I was very young when Richard Roundtree originally played SHAFT. Did see a few bloopers in two fighting scenes though, but oh well.

I Enjoyed this Movie
7 May 2019
For those who are commenting that the movie is predictable -- duhhhh, it's based on a true story. Beautifully done from beginning to end. It's a good thing I was in the movie theater because I wanted to give a praise shout. I cried sad tears and happy tears. If this movie didn't move you, I say your faith needs to be looked into. There is no way one could see this movie and not be moved by faith, prayer, and an act of GOD.

Very good movie
17 April 2019
I actually enjoyed the movie. Had funny parts when it should have been and had serious moments when it should have been serious. There definitely is a message in this movie, which is what I like. Never saw anything with Issa Rae in it even though I've heard of her. She's a great actress.
After Earth
(2013)
I loved it. Great Sci Fi
15 October 2018
I'm not understanding why so many people are hating on this movie. I truly enjoyed it. Guess I try to look for positive messages when I see a movie. In this one, Kitai (Jaden Smith) must take the knowledge he learned from his strict father Cypher (Will Smith) once the ship crashes. Only Kitai can save them both. I recommend it.
Night School
(2018)
Movie with a Positive Message
11 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I actually liked it. It had a message that was to be delivered in a comical way. What I took out of it is it's never too late and you're never too old to get your GED. It proved that people with all types of backgrounds and reasons drop out of school for one reason or another. All it takes is for one person to really invest in you to find out what is really going on. I have a relative that is really good with their hands, very helpful, can tell you how to fix something but when a book/test was put in front of them, they couldn't comprehend it. Years later, found out they too had a learning disability; they were not stupid/dumb as society labels a person. Once someone took the extra steps to teach them how to learn, their grades went up to As, and Bs vs. Ds, Es, plus not turning in assignments. There were other positive messages in this movie as well. The other ones were not realistic but funny as heck.
The Predator

I Must Be the Odd One
2 October 2018
I actually liked it. Were there some things that just didn't make sense where you just shook your head, sure. Like the other ones before it, I didn't compare it to the other Predator movies as I don't think any will ever compare to the original. No, I'm not a bot either (smile).
