How It Ends (2018)
8/10
Dont listen to all the hate. Its a great movie.
24 August 2018
I cant believe all the 1 and 2 star reviews because of the "ending". For starters, this movie is actually GOOD. The acting is well done and the story keeps you sucked in. You really want tom and will to find sam. Of course we have no idea what is actually happening here. Is it a ww3? Is it aliens? Or is it just the end of times? Just watch the movie and feel for the characters. Dont worry about the ending to this movie. Its not a bad ending by any means. There is a lot of build up to get to the end, and yes, the ending isn't some huge climactic ending but subtle and fits the movie.

D.C. does no justice to the league
20 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
For starters I honestly wasnt expecting much from this movie except a few decent action sequences. Well, that's about all this movie ever offers. The best part of the movie was the Amazon's trying to fight off Steppenwolf. 99% of the movie was made of terribly noticeable cgi. Obviously practical effects couldn't be used for everything but its just done so badly here. Steppenwolf looks like a laughable Minotaur goat creature. Cyborg looked just as laughable with way more cgi than was needed. They should have just named it justice CGI at least we all know what that is. All the superhero costumes look good but thats it. Acting was mediocre at best. Even Ben Affleck seemed bored as Batman. Henry caville as superman was awful. His facial expressions alone say it all. It really made me feel like no one actually tried in this film. Since superman, Batman and wonder woman already have a backstory it would only make sense to focus on the flash aquaman and cyborg. Instead what we get is about 1 minute of the flash. 5 minutes of aquaman.(way too much for the cringe worthy Jason momoa portrayal) and way more time on cyborg for whatever reason. None of them are likeable here. I liked them better in comic form. Maybe d.c. should take some ques from marvel in the future to learn how to write better characters and story arcs. Sorry, but d.c. universe deserves so much better than this. I have no desire to see a sequel even tho we all know there is going to be one. I should have took warning from dawn of justice and stayed far away from this movie. Its not even worth the mind numbing blockbuster summer movie action because there isn't any!

The Lost (II) (2006)

Not what i was expecting
3 May 2010
I have to say I went into watching this movie blind. I went to my local best buy and they had this on blu ray for 6.99 so i picked it up because the synopsis intrigued me. I honestly never heard or read the novel by Jack Ketchum and if I had the choice i would have read it first. This movie just grabs you by the balls and doesn't let go. something about this film and its realism that shocked me. the weird thing about it is i can sit through tons of horror and thriller movies and never wince or feel real terror like i did watching this film. the acting was amazing, as much as i hated the main character ray pye, he just had this affect on me to continue watching. there were several times i wanted to shut it off because i couldn't take anymore but i stuck through to the end. the only thing that disappointed me was the abrupt ending but im sure if i read the novel first i wouldn't have been. still an incredible emotional impacting film.

Sweet Ass Prequel to the movie "X".
1 January 2004
Well, I just bought the DVD to this movie a couple of days ago. The story goes that there is a few murders going around at a specific work sight where a new building is almost finished. Then we have Subaru come in who is trying to figure out who is killing who. Or if every "murder" is by pure accident. There soon is a twist of magical powers and a red dragon (dragon of the earth) that is trying to take over someones body. There is a second part to this movie which again follows Subaru on a hunt to find out who is committing certain train station murders. A woman who can see what happened with these murders gets involved with the killer. Although the second part of Tokyo Babylon doesnt follow as much towards "X" it does explain some of the characters. I really injoyed watching this film. Eventhough I had already seen "X" before this prequel I still learned a few more things about the story. And for the person who says they need a life, I think you do. The reason you did not like this film is probably most likely because you where not paying atention or understanding any part of the story line or its plot.
