Game of Death (1978)
So bad it's good
In one scene, to simulate Bruce Lee's image in the reflection of a mirror, they actually taped a photo of Bruce's face to the mirror over the reflection of another actor. Classic, bad and funny filmmaking all throughout the movie. The climactic fight scene however is top notch original Bruce Lee work. They took an original unfinished Bruce Lee project and tried to exploit it into a movie with a nonsensical plot. Many scenes look as if they were shot with practically no budget or professional equipment. But other scenes look like they put in some decent effort. In short, this movie looks like the filmmakers just winged it all the way through. While the movie is funny for all of the mistakes and bad techniques throughout, Bruce Lee deserved much better respect than the filmmakers showed him in the end.
Ingenuity in Action (1959)
Excellent documentary on true old "old skool" drag racing.
This is a great look back at the grassroots of professional drag racing. Only thing is, they weren't quite professionals yet. Back then these people were racing just for the excitement, glory, and love of the sport.
Cry Uncle (1971)
Better than you'd expect.
Normally I wouldn't rate this kind of movie very high. However, this movie is much better better written, produced, directed and acted than other "Troma" productions. Now don't get me wrong. There is A LOT of graphic sex and nudity here. Full frontal female and male. I think that maybe all of the women but one or two had fully nude sex scenes. Some of them had several. But, this movie was very light hearted with a lot of humor. But much of that was raunchy old school 1970's humor. So if you're an easily offended person or a feminist, you might want to watch something else.
Alien Moon (2019)
Not orbiting the earth, what? Then what the hell is it orbiting
Not orbiting the earth, what? Is it orbiting the guy's head?
This guy actually says that because the earth moon bary center is inside the earth, and that means the moon isn't orbiting the earth! Huh, what? If the Earth moon bary center is inside the earth, then guess what? That means the moon is orbiting the earth! This guy is an idiot! Plus, Apollo 13 did not land anything on the moon! This guy needs to read a history book. And a book on astronomy.
Legacy of Blood (1978)
I don't think any actor in this movie took acting lessons!!!
Nor did the director, or, anyone else for that matter, go to film school. It's lit like all they had was a single light. The film stock used is cheap and the wrong speed (sensitivity to light) and half the time looks completely overexposed. The script totally stinks. The only thing of quality was the gunshot one character took to the head (it's the only thing anybody put any effort into)!
Beaster Day: Here Comes Peter Cottonhell (2014)
THIS MOVIE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
This. Must. Be. The. Worst. Movie. Ever! The hair on that piss poor rabbit puppet thing looks like old fiberglass insulation ripped out of a 20 year old a/c system. The only thing this movie has going for it is some naked chicks. If that's all your looking for, get a copy of Showgirls. You'll be much happier with that.
Thor: End of Days (2020)
It's not nearly as bad as people are saying.
Now, if you're expecting the Thor and Loki from the MCU, this isn't it. This has more in common with the mythological Norse gods than Marvel Comics. If you enjoy Norse mythology, you'll probably enjoy this. If you're expecting MCU Thor and Loki, then you won't enjoy this at all. As for as budget vs. Quality, I've seen more expensive movies that were much worse.
Judge Jerry (2019)
Are you kidding me!?!?
I already knew these "JUDGE" shows were a joke. This confirms it!!!
Texas, America (2008)
Trys to be "American Graffiti".
This movie trys to be "American Graffiti", but seriously misses the mark. However, with that being said, if your into classic American cars then it may be worth a look. The cinematography is OK. The acting is OK. But the script and directing needed some work. The story is set in 1974, but the traffic scenes show cars from the mid 2000's. That makes the movie a laughable anachronism. This movie is also extremely boring and was a waste of my money. In my opinion, there are much better low budget car and racing movies out there such as "American Graffiti", "Two Lane Blacktop", "California Kid", and "Dirty Mary Crazy Lary" to name a few. Once again, if you've seen "American Graffiti" then you pretty much know this story.
