The Leftovers (2014)
So strange but also so good!
Definitely one of the better shows I've watched. It really is very strange towards the end but if you have an open mind then it is very enjoyable.
It is slightly annoying how they depict Australia and Australian people, we don't all talk like that haha.
Kids Behind Bars: Life or Parole (2019)
Trauma informed
Great to watch a documentary that acknowledges that many individuals that commit crimes at a young age are not just 'bad kids' but have experienced significant trauma which is known to limit brain development, restricting the ability to make informed decisions. These kids have been failed by society.
The Undoing (2020)
Pretty good!
I struggled to find the time to watch this as I am not a massive fan of Nicole Kidman, though I did enjoy this!
The Disappearance of Crystal Rogers (2018)
Sad and pointless
Before I started watching the series I Googled to see if the case had been solved, to avoid disappointment at the end.
It is really frustrating how fake it is, continuously leading viewers to believe that something new or crucial has been found. Considering the journalist is not working with the police or has any of the police information it really does seem pointless, over dramatic and cruel for the family.
The family should seek the help of the Cold Justice team rather than some attention hungry reporter who clearly doesn't know what she's doing and just wants endless camera time.
I would suggest a quick Google, that will save you five hours of your life and give you the same amount of information 😊
Hillbilly Elegy (2020)
Great movie!
I watched the whole movie without realising it was based on a true story! Which makes it so much better!
Fabulous acting and refreshing to see an American film that shows what life is really like for many people.
The Blacklist (2013)
Standard American Rubbish
Very predictable and unrealistic. I watched three episodes and had to turn it off, the storyline in so far fetched it should be a comedy!
Gangs of London (2020)
Joe Cole ruins it
I don't really understand the hype? Definitely watchable but Joe Cole is a terrible lead character and there is a fair bit of weak acting throughout the season.
