This was such a great topic, but unfortunately a horrible narration and writing. More religious than scientific. Nothing short of a waste of time. So disappointing. Sad. Just sad.

So many people panned this movie because it's message was about facing the truth regardless of what has been forced fed to the masses. I saw reviews which were so hypocritical they were just sad and pathetic attempts to push their religion instead of facing and embracing the truth. What is wrong with the truth? Why is truth such a bad thing?

First let me say, I didn't watch this movie in a theater -and I'm glad I didn't waste my money doing so. I'm not sure what the writers were thinking, but I can tell you what the viewers were thinking...BORING. There was no set up for this movie, so for me the characters never really developed fully. The plot was weak and the ending was one of the worst endings I think I have ever seen in a movie. Unless you are a fan of slasher movies (which I am not), horror movies are hard to get audience buy-in and this one had me bored and confused within the first 5 minutes. I bit the bullet and watched it until the end. Wished I had followed my first instinct and just turned it off when the story line broke down - around minute 6. Do yourself a favor and stay off the Yellow Brick Road.
