Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Amazing! (Contains mild spoilers)
WOW!
That movie just kicked butt. Every little thing meant something; after Luta got bit, I actually asked my friend if the baby would be a zombie as well, and low and behold-- I saw it. I couldnt love this movie more! It preyed on my most elementry fears-- I fell in love with the characters only to watch them die! And it ROCKED! In the begining, when there were these disaster shots, I was just enthralled. It really amped me for the rest of the movie!! Im totally buying the DVD. I liked it much better then The Ring or those type of films. there was NO stopping the zombies, man. All you have to do in other films is not watch the tape or kill the guy wearing the hockey mask. This one had me scared restless for many days after. Great movie! I reccomend it totally! My closing note:
Nothing rocks more then Zombies with super human abilities eating everyone. Nothing.
Anne B. Real (2003)
A Moving Film
What first drew me to rent, "Anne B. Real" on my weekly trip to Blockbuster, was when a friend picked up the dvd and read off the back that "GirlFight" and "8 Mile" were recommended for those who enjoyed "Anne B. Real" I had seen both movies, so I decided that I would give it a chance. And, I must say, I am overly glad I did.
When watching, "Anne B. Real" I felt as if I was there with the characters, especially the main character, her inner turmoil brought tears to my eyes. I truly enjoyed it, it's one of those movies that for whiles to come, you'll still gasp "Fantastic..."
