Station 19: Phoenix from the Flame (2021)
not good for your health
Starts off with the assumption you are stupid and just in case you're not attempts to make you such.
Seems the only possible good from this season would be the energy saved by people switching it off will reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Dispatches from Elsewhere (2020)
hooked in the first few eps, regretted at the end
First few episodes hooked me in,
last couple of episodes, particularly the very last: I regretted ever starting.
and 90% of the reviews here reflect the same:
nearly all 7+ star ratings are people that only watched the first 1, 2 maybe 3 episodes before reviewing: I agree started good
the 4 or less star reviews: from those that waited to the end to review: I agree, overall and ending it was abysmal and pointless.
4 stars would be a the best realistic average rating based on reviews of the entire season.
So what did we learn here: ignore reviews from anyone that has only watched the first few episodes, clearly a lot of people got wedgied here.
(... and IMDB really should look to disallow reviews of TV series until after the last episode of the season airs.)
Inhumans (2017)
Really hard to watch
Story so cliche, so many inconsistencies even locating it on "laid back" Hawaii didn't make up for the mistakes of the "humans,", police, space research organisation, scientists, and the cute dog didn't help save it even one bit.
Throw in the worst backing sound track ever, I mean where did that come from? Every track total garbage featuring the worlds worst rip-offs.
Total let down, even if they tagged for young children it's just not there, not even close.
Please don't renew. Really, don't!
Blood Drive (2017)
It's boring
All the hype about just passing TV cert is crap, apart from the occasional bucket of blood thrown by the extras off camera nothing in this rates as gore, horror, nor sexy, there's zero surprises, most important there's no gh underplot.
Grindhouse used to man something, and contrary to what other reviewers are saying this isn't it; it's just boring crap that only the simplest of simpletons (with zero idea what gh means) would appreciate.
Saddest thing: cant give it zero stars - and it doesn't even deserve that many.
The Whispers (2015)
Absolutely implausible (even ignoring the invisible guy).
Supposed Government Agents, almost ll of them with huge conflicts of interest allowed to remain on the case is bad enough, but they refuse to share information and act without supervision. Claire Bennigan for instance should have actually been arrested and probably sent to GitMo for the way she acted. Are they purposely trying to make the FBI look stupid and not getting pulled up for it???
Throw in kids doing stupid things but it's OK because an invisible person told them to do it. I deal a lot with kids a lot and I've seen some 'interesting' cases but even 2 year old kids never as stupid as these. I know what, lets make mommy fall down, or lets just ride a few miles away on my bike because another kid I never met before told me to (while I leave them alone in my house.) Oh, and let's just let anybody walk into our nuclear power plant because the alarm went off - while kids also walk into the center of the same nuclear power plant through open drainage piping. What??? Is it really that easy to get into those sorts of places??? Why would terrorists take flying lessons and hijack planes if it were that simple to just walk into these sorts of places?
The idea was OK, but very very very badly made.
