Man with My Husband's Face (2023)
This reminds me of...
Nice movie with twists, but predictable especially when the unknown woman doesn't let Katrina to go to the Police and when she also doesn't let her touch her dead husband's body.
As for the actors and actresses, Koko Marshall was very good at her role and Katie Page was also good at her small part. Thomas Gipson, as the husband, was just O. K.
The story has some very good moments, but it is not original. This reminds me of a Robert Thomas play titled "Double jeu" which means "Double game" written in France in 1970. The play became a hit and was played worldwide in theaters, cinemas and television.
Babysitter's Nightmare (2018)
WOW!!!
This is an excellent thriller and I don't understand the bad reviews. It kept me on the edge of my seat from the first minute to the end. I had never seen before any other Lifetime movie soooo suspenseful and I didn't expect it to be so. It is creepy, mysterious and has you guessing all the time. So interesting! And all the actors and actresses are very convincing in their roles.
I would give it 10 stars, but some murder scenes are very bloody and disturbing so you should keep children away.
If you'd like to spend a suspenseful 90 minute time, go for it and preferably watch it late in the evening for the right atmosphere!
I wish there were more and more Lifetime movies like that!
Acrimony (2018)
For those who loved this one...
If you loved this one, look up the two Betty Broderick 1992 TV movies: Till Murder do us Part and Her Final Fury. They share the same subject.
Acrimony is an absolutely delightful film that doesn't leave the viewer with questions. It's crystal clear with start, middle and ending. I also loved the chapters and the component of narration. What a round film! I wish they made films like this more often.
Mistress Hunter (2018)
I enjoyed every minute of it!
I was fed up with all these Lifetime movies with the same "psycho-stalker story" and then...one afternoon I watched Mistress Hunter and...wow! That was it! At last a total different plot and some originality!
All the actors and actresses did a very good job here, but I loved Lydia Look as Hannah - the mistress hunter. She was really amazing! So delightful to watch her play her role!
The plot has many twists which I like a lot and it managed to keep me at the edge of my seat.
If you want a very suspenseful and enjoyable movie, go for Mistress Hunter and you won't regret it!
Deadly Assistant (2019)
Maybe the most predictable movie ever
All characters act like idiots and yes, the killer is the one that you guessed.
He/She has the killer's look, acts like one and IS the killer.
Soooo predictable!!! Don't bother.
