CODA (2021)
Beautiful.
A perfect movie in my opinion. It has moments that touched my heart, like when she sang to her Dad after the concert and then it hit me over the head with the realisation that the son was absolutely correct about letting hearing people work out how to communicate with them. I loved how they turned the sound off when she was singing in the concert and the Dad had to go by people in the audience's reaction to the performance. I cried for the last 10 minutes but they were tears of joy. I'd love to see the original French movie now but I absolutely loved this film. A perfect 10.
Charlie's Angels (2019)
Actually a great popcorn action movie
When it was announced they were making this movie, I immediately took exception to the news and views never to watch it. I was wrong. I really enjoyed it. Great story, cast, action sequences. There were a couple of cringy moments but the last one was the same. I actually would prefer to watch this one than the Lucy Luo etc one. It's sad it bombed so badly but it was one of those movies that really didn't need to be made. I'm really glad it was and think it's a fun, Saturday night popcorn movie.
