I really loved and binged this series. The actors did a great job. I am older than my husband but I had never felt this kind of " out of law" prejudice. Ok as she's his teacher but in jail ? No. She could be expelled, advertised but not arrested. This is overreacted. Didn't need to. Apart from that exaggeration, the question is who is the victim ? IF is there any ? They the lovers are the victims. What the hell has anyone anything to do with their lives ? Love is forbidden ? I am watching episodes 9 and 10 now and I am cheering for them to be together. After all the suffering they deserve. I hope they will.

Jared Leto is phenomenal

At first I was a little disturbed by his accent but later I got it and the series became better and better. Excelent. Acting from Leto ( what an actor!) and Hathaway. Impressive writing , perfect dialogs, correct directing. It's worthy. History from the present tense.
I Love this series but I hate Brida

I would give 9 but because of her both the actress and the character I gave 6. I stopped watching to write this. This is not possible that the brida we saw in the fist episode , friend of Uthred , would became this terrible woman who wants to hurt his children. That does not fit the spirit and the bonding of Viking people. And the features and things she does while slaughtering people is disgusting. 9 for the series and 0 for this absolutely wrong role character and actress.

The series is very good and this episode is very creative mainly because of the musical. Zendaya is a singer and a dancer and the way she sings in the background is a way the director found to put her talent besides the acting. BUT very open finale. I'm nervous about Nate. Loose ends.

Brian Cox and Jeremy strong deliver an astonishing acting. The text is perfect. The camera looking for the characters and zooming in their expression gives a theatrical effect. Looking forward to next season. What's going to happen with ken and Logan ? Good hook. Highly recommended.
