Hustle (2004–2012)
One of the best shows on the box
23 January 2005
I must say I absolutely loved this and did not miss one episode.

I know some people will think it is just a waste of time but I enjoyed the fact that not only did they only single out the rich and the greedy, I now know some things to watch out for so that I don't get conned.

I loved the freeze frames that enabled them to explain what was going on, it meant that you didn't lose the thread by excessive dumbing down but you got the inside facts.

I have recommended this to many people and am looking forward to this years series.

Thumbs up
24 April 2004
I was very lucky to be present at a staff preview and I can whole heartedly say this is one of the best films I have seen this year!

It is just so british in its dealing with zombees, what other nationality would consider either going the pub to escape them or having a nice cup of tea? Only we could manage to have a "six months later" and only have the whole occurance happening in one city, in America it always spreads and it is assumed that the world has been taken over.

Only we brits could manage to walk to the newsagents past numerous undead and dead alike and not spot that there is something seriously amiss. The comic timing of the tv channel changing made this even more evident.

Also, the music timing is spot on, I have a whole new appreciation for Queen. The "White Lines" moment is something not to be missed.

I am planning to go see it again as I feel this is one of those bonus films that each time you watch it you pick out extra things.

I look forward to any sequels that may be in the future.

Sherlock (2002 TV Movie)
The Worst Sherlock Holmes Film Ever
14 March 2004
I recently watched this film and was amased at how bad it was. I am a great fan of Sherlock Holmes and have read all the books and seen most films produced, this interpretation was NOT him.

I found the use of CGI pathetic as it was obvious, his drinking habits were confusing (he drank a bottle of vodka, a bottle of red wine and then half a bottle of absinth which would have made him blind), he slept with four women (two at the same time) and still somehow managed to save the day.

Mycroft was played by one of my favourite actors but even he couldn't save the show. He is portrayed as a cripple who is frightened to go out. Mycroft is supposed to be a strong minded person who works for the government.

Watson was the best of the lot, but i don't remember him being a mortician, also he should have been in the war.

The biggest gaff I found was that they took a scene from "Hands of a Murderer" and made a couple of adjustments but it was still the same scene, didn't they have anything better to do?

I would tell anyone who is considering watching this not to bother unless you are doing it for free and have nothing better to do, this is not for Sherlockians!

A first class crime comedy that I would recommend
19 February 2004
This is one of my favourite comedies alongside Clue (1985). I find it interesting how they have taken some of the gratest detectives (well reflections of them) and put them all in the same place to solve a murder.

I think my favourite bits tend to include the nanny, although she is only and extra to the story, her fingering palms and apologising for smells just make her all the more interesting.

It is a shame they do not show this film more often as I think its ease of story telling and simple gags make it a must for all crime buffs with attitude.
