Would watch multiple seasons
2 December 2023
Wow. This show has me on the edge. Such a thrilling game show. What I love is that it's just as much a game show as it is a social experiment. Watching the contestants behaviours and social interactions is so interesting. Seeing contestants make alliances and then those alliances being betrayed is so very entertaining. This is the kind of game show that I could watch numerous seasons of, even with the exact same games. New contestants can and will approach challenges so deferent every time. Would be so interesting to watch how completely new set of contestants approach each challenge. So excited to see where this series goes. Hoping this show is going to stick around for a while.

Bad casting ruined a fun story
5 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Worst decision to cast Lizzo and Jack Black. Lizzo's acting was so awful. The casting itself pulled me out of the Star Wars world when I'm usually captivated during Mandalorian. I don't understand why they had to cast such familiar faces. Would've been so much better with a new face and better acting..

Seeing the old battle droids was fun and the story was interesting the battle stood chase scene was a bit weird. The cgi seemed off and he was running way too fast. This episodes had the story to be really good. But the casting, soulless acting, and boring fight scene at the end just ruined it.

Brilliant and keeps you guessing
1 March 2020
Went into this with high expectations and I was not disappointed. Always on the edge of my seat. Very unpredictable unlike so many horrors these days. Absolutely loved it. Acting from Moss was incredible. Music was also splendid. Story telling was so good, not rushed. Just such a brilliant movie.

Tall Girl (2019)
Ava just being herself
5 October 2019
This is just a movie of Ava being her boring and bland self. She's still just mopping around playing victim to Abby lee miller. We get it, you're slightly taller than the average girl. No need to make a film about your problems. Plenty of girls have it much worse. You're white, pretty, intelligent, and wealthy. Get out of acting and start auditioning for runway modelling. You'd be good at it.

Great cast and story, but could be scarier
9 September 2019
Let's start with the positive. The cast was great. Jessica Chastain of course was fantastic. The movie was probably a bit long, but overall the story telling was good. The only thing that was disappointing in this movie, was that it really wasn't that scary. I think maybe there was too much in the trailers and therefore I knew what was coming for lost parts. But yeah, I wasn't exactly covering my eyes in fear.

love/hate finale
20 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I think it was a great episode. Even though I didn't enjoy the story of episode 5, I'm glad at least the finale got a good episode. Yeah I do feel like Dany's character was a bit of a waste. Supporting her for so long only to have her values thrown at the window and then killed in the end. I wish so much that she could've been Queen in the end. It would have made for a beautiful albeit predictable ending that viewers would enjoy. But I understand that this was the plan all along. I feel like they could've have prolonged her anger, not just switch to mad queen in one episode.

I understand that she had to be killed. That scene was beautifully done, including the burning of iron throne.

Was nice to have a little closure on Cersei and Jamie as well. I love that they showed that. Because it didn't seem enough in episode 5.

In the end I'm happy. Was a great Stark ending. Sansa looked amazing. I was happy with Jons end as well. I'm glad they didn't make him king. Small council meeting was a cute final moment for loveable characters.

I understand some viewers not enjoying the final season. They definitely should have prolonged the ending. It was rushed. Episode 5 I definitely did not enjoy. But I did enjoy The Long Night, even with the darkness I loved it. Many characters had happy endings which was good. Just not for Dany which made me sad and it felt like a waste. Still best show in television ever

WOW An amazing end
16 May 2019
The finale of this amazing series was so much more than I could've ever asked for. By far the funniest episode of the entire series. So many stories coming together at the end brilliantly. Selina's narcissism was more outraged and hilarious than ever. All sitcoms should look to this show for inspiration. In my opinion this is the greatest finale of any show ever.

Hard to watch for many reasons
13 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I've never felt so conflicted in a Game Of Thrones episode ever. I'm so sad that Dany has come to this. I've loved her character so much, so it's hard for me to now view her as the bad guy. But yet I understand this must've been George's plan all along.

The reason I gave this an 8 and not a 10 was because of the Cersei and Jamie scene. If in fact they are dead, then I'm very disappointed. They deserved better deaths.

I really hope this show gets the ending it deserves. If Dany is going to die then let it be epic. Don't glimpse over it like Cersei and Jamie.

Left with a smile

I didn't have high expectations before watching but I was surprised. Sure there were a few spots where story skips and plot has a few blatant holes. But overall a cute movie and definitely made me chuckle.

Don't listen to bad reviews, was epic
29 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I'm shocked at the amount of bad reviews on this episode with people complaining about everything. They did the night at dark for a reason. The whole point was that you couldn't see how big the army of the dead was and for it to surprise all the shoulders that hadn't seen the dead yet. And for the people saying it anticlimactic, remember that this is game of thrones, the show that killed Robb stark quickly and suddenly in season 3, and shockingly killed Ned at the end of an episode. Deaths happen quick in Game Of Thrones so I expected a quick death. It's not like the NK was gonna have any last words. I'm also so glad that this wasn't just another John Snow battle, we've seen that enough already. My only disappointment in the episode was lack of Ghost. Props to actress who plays Mellisandre, she was amazing. Fairwell to the fallen.

Cute but disappointing
17 March 2019
I was looking forward to seeing this thinking I'll be able to sing along to all the amazing songs from original. But sadly was disappointed to hear no original songs even when the story line was begging for it. I thought for sure we were gonna here "let's go fly a kite" at the end. Sadly I was wrong

Acting of Blunt and Manuel-Miranda was fantastic and saved this movie.

As a whole disappointing with fun references to original Potter films
15 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I'll start of by saying that I actually enjoy the cast. Was skeptial about Johnny Depp at first but I think he actually portrayed is role very well and I was intrigued by his character.

This film however does not feel like it fits into the Potter universe. The writing cramped so many plots and subplots into a short amount of time that it became unenjoybale.

The love interest of Tina and newt is forced and not convincing.

The 2 lestrange characters were irrelevant and their entire story could have been cut out

The best parts were the references to original Potter films. Seeing the philosophers/sorcerer's stone was fun, the scenes at hogwarts were great (bogart scene). I enjoyed nagini as a character and will hope to see more of her in future films.

Overall I will still look forward to future films, but I will be reluctant to watch this one again. It definitely felt like a filler movie where the plots are complex and end up being pointless with almost no continuation to any story. The ending twist/reveal was disappointing and will definitely frustrate Potter fans.

Actually not bad
25 July 2018
Enjoyable plot. Better ending. Not as much of a horror film as it is thriller. Jump scares were a little obvious but overall vibe was spooky/creepy that would absolutely scare people in a movie theatre or watching at home in the dark. Sure acting could've been better, but I didn't expect much more. Would probably be popular with teenage girls who wanna watch a scary movie at a sleepover. Probably not for everyone, but I actually kinda liked it.

Terrible writing, decent acting
17 June 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I thought the actresses did their best with the script, especially Hathaway. Writing definitely missed the mark. Everything basically went perfect in the heist, there was no moment where u thought maybe they would get caught. The motive for stealing the necklace was boring. We didn't care about that guy getting framed at all. At least in 11 Clooney had ur motive of stealing the casino to get the girl back. But the motive in 8 was careless and boring. The only thing good about this movie was that it was cool seeing that many A list stars in one scene. But a good cast does not make a good movie if the writing is crap.

Some very funny moments, some terrible
13 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Normally I worship the ground Melissa walks on. I mean her movies Spy and The Heat are some of my favourite comedy movies ever. This one just didn't have enough moments for me. I needed it to have more extremes in scenes, where more and more funny stuff is adding to the moment. But that really only happened once in the restaurant scene which was great. I wanted to see her character lose more of her values and get dirty. There could have been a funny sex scene in the library, she could've got in a fist fight with the bully girl and even have the grandma join in, the dance off scene could've been way bigger. Wanted to see her get really drunk playing party games and then have an embarrassing/painful part where she falls or something. It just didn't go all the way for me. There were also way too many mother/daughter awwwwwww moments. But still love Melissa and looking forward to her next movie which I will still watch at the movies.
