Taking a Shot at Love (2021)
Great premise for a movie!
I really enjoyed this movie because it showed me a way to rehab from almost the same injury, when it has appeared, it would never heal...thank you! It was a fun movie, lighthearted and interesting, even if the romance part may seem cheesy. We all need to slow down, and learn to relax and enjoy life...this is a great start! Hygge!
Magnum P.I.: No Way Out (2020)
Poetic Justice!
Wow, wow, wow! Great episode! Great acting, great premise!!
NCIS: Los Angeles: Angry Karen (2020)
Wow, Action, Comedy & Justice
I have to say, this was one of the best episodes ever! It had action, justice and comedy! I laughed, because I got the jokes! This is a time, that we really do need to laugh occasionally! Great work, great writing, and an unbelievable cast, as always.
21 Grams (2003)
Ugh! Movies that go forward and back in time
I can't follow movies that have scenes in current time, and then go back in time without a subtitle that tells you how many years back they are going! Sorry, but I find it too confusing.
Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda: The End (2020)
Bravo!!
Well done! Beautiful way to tie up an amazing career for us viewers, self-proclaimed "Kenda Addicts." Thank you, to all those associated with this show, for sharing Joe's life, and cases, with us. So looking forward to his next endeavor! Hopefully another healing experience for him. Those who have experienced trauma firsthand, know that speaking about it diminishes its effects on them...this show has been a blessing.
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Wide Awake (2019)
Camryn Grimes!!
So excited to see Camryn Grimes on this awesome show!! Great casting! Love her on #yr; so great to see her on another show!
Carol's Second Act: Pilot (2019)
That would be me, if I were to become a doctor!
I always say, "I should have been a doctor!" I have all this knowledge, and love of medical facts, but at my age, would never do anything toward earning a career in medicine. Watching this pilot episode, I really felt as though I was watching myself, if I had become a doctor! Carol's character, with all her good intentions, inserts her personal stories, funny expressions and irrelevant facts, into every conversation, trailing off randomly, from what she was supposed to be discussing. I confess that I do that, frustrating everyone around me, when all they want from me is a simple and short response! So I watched this episode, feeling like I was watching me, if I were to become a doctor, and laughed like crazy! I was so entertained by this episode, that I watched it twice! Kudos to the writers and actors! This is the comic relief that I need in my life! I look forward to every new episode!
Succession: Safe Room (2019)
Jeremy Strong
**SPOILERS**
His performance in this episode especially at the end, blew me away. He has played this character from the highs to the lows of Kendall's self-confidence (maybe Bipolar), really allowing us to "feel" Kendall's heart breaking.
****SPOILER***
But at the end, when Kendall walked away from Shiv, I could actually "feel" how "beaten down" he was feeling, by his posture, his walk, his attitude...and I could feel tears rolling down my face. Bravo! Amazing performance!!
Maybe there's an award in his future? I hope so!
SEAL Team: My Life for Yours (2019)
Episodes & Acting get better week after week!!
How can they top the previous episode, week after week? But they do!! The actors, producers, writers, and everyone else who works on this show, do it! Bravo!! ...and I cry, week after week, after week... a true sign that they are doing it right!!!
Blue Bloods: Identity (2019)
Erika Slesak!!!
How exciting to see Erika Slesak on the episode!!! I have missed her!! I hope she becomes a regular character-maybe an occasional date for the patriarch? Lol
The Twilight Zone: Third from the Sun (1960)
What If It Were True?
***SPOILER ALERT*** So, we have the technology, and the brains to use it...do we use it when faced with our demise?
The Twilight Zone: I Shot an Arrow into the Air (1960)
So Unexpected!!
Wow!! Shocked the heck out of me! All the emotions people would go through when facing a situation such as these characters...I have a list I made years ago, listing the names of several favorite episodes of mine, that I have loved, since I was a child, and this is now one of them!
Longmire: Running Eagle Challenge (2017)
The horse Vic rides with Longmire is a Mare!
Something so simple and they got it wrong! So Longmire gets Vic on a horse, refers to it as a "he," but it clearly is a Mare! ...
I love this show, but really, they could have said "she!"
IO (2019)
Waste of time
Waste of time, I keep waiting for something to happen, but it never did...no fault of the actors..terrible ending...
FBI: Compromised (2018)
Chief deputy Ackerman: Michael Mosley
I answered my own question! I rewatched 5he episode from the beginning, and saw the name Michael Mosley, looked him up, and saw that I recognized him from Longmire, as Sean!
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Caretaker (2018)
Scott Bryce!! Always a treat to see!
So, this review is personal.. Staples High School, Mr. Pia, "Our Town" during the summer... The memories came flooding back... it was so good to see Scott on screen! He was always a great actor...
NCIS: New Orleans: Empathy (2018)
Piano Ending
Best part of this show is that Dwayne has a life outside NCIS, his bar and his music.
Best part of this episode was the two pianos. Him with (spoiler) his mom, answering each other in song. I wish I could hear my Mom play again...gone a year now, so lucky my daughter memorialized her on a priceless, utube video, so I have the memories forever...
