Exceptional!!!
22 March 2005
The way they portrayed this movie was absolutely exceptional. It was well filmed and well pieced together. In some ways it almost represented a documentary in the filming of discussions in class. Danielle Panabaker played the part of Jacey well. I could believe she was really the character she portrayed. The other characters were well written, but I saw a depth of understanding in Danielle that I didn't see in the rest, although they did a marvelous job as well. For once it wasn't a film of being pregnant, it portrayed what came next and I think that was a smart move. It was something new and different. The emotions running from this film, gave characters that people could relate too.

A Parallel
1 February 2005
I wasn't sure what to expect when I watched this movie. I was sure quite how it would fit with the Dirty Dancing title, but once I turned it on I was enraptured. I couldn't turn away and when it was over and watched it a second time.

I was uncertain at first what I would think because I'd heard it was a Sequel, I'd heard it was a Prequel and I'd heard it was a remake. But when I came out of watching it, I felt it was a movie in it's own right. If anything it was a Parallel. It present the same kind of feelings and emotions as the original Dirty Dancing. Other than that it was it's own movie.

Romola was fabulous and Diego was just so easy to watch. They had great chemistry that made the whole thing believable and realistic. I could watch them dance all day. And the music made me want to dance myself if I knew how.

Only Once (1998)
Good Movie
21 May 2004
The first day I saw this movie I watched it 3 times. I think it shows a lot about teenagers and also about the LDS culture. It shows that we Mormons are just like everyone else. Compared to other ways I have seen our religion shown. Growing up in the Mormon capitol of the world which I have, I have appreciated the way this movie was representing those values which I also have. The acting I believe was well done and the actors played their roles well. Austin and Brit made the characters of Greg and Kelly believable and real. Although the movie is short the writing was well done.

I would have liked a little more story towards the end but they way it was done is very good. Thank you those that made this movie.
