I was among the people who did not hate this film. Yes, it was 2+ hours of action and info packed so tight that seeing it just once it is too hard to see all of the work that went into this film as well as the Easter eggs. I've got to get this out of the way, I did not care for Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, I found myself shaking my head every time he was on screen and I told myself I was going to give him a chance! Although he's not my favorite actor he'd be better fit playing Arcade in an X-men film or maybe he's just not cut out for superhero films. I wish he would've said no to the role. Moving on, when I saw it the first time I walked out thinking "what the heck was all that?" And the second time around after talking about it with some friends and viewing some YouTube reviews along with looking up some of the Easter eggs I missed I definitely noticed a lot more and appreciated it.
It's not perfect and should have been split up into two films. Affleck as Batman was amazing and I loved Man of Steel so I liked the tone of this film.
