Dive into the amazing world of Pandora
22 December 2022
Avatar doesn't offer a complex storyline with twists, but instead you get the chance to experience again for more than 3 ours the world of Pandora. The movie delivers to the viewers exactly what if wants, a cinematic experience. It doesn't take long before you get dragged into the movie and bond with the characters. The overall CGI is just breathtaking beautiful and sometimes you even forget that you are watching a computer generated world.

Some negative aspects of the movie are the (again) stereotypical villains, simple storyline and repetitive concept from the first part.

Overall, a must watch.

A failed third part of the trilogy.
26 July 2022
The third installment of the trilogy offers nothing new to the fans except some nice animatronics and CGI created dinosaurs. The story is completely out of point, predictable and uninteresting. Even Chris Pratt seems not enjoying his character anymore. The whole concept of the new Jurassic world shema is already been told in the first two parts and repeats itself in this one, but focusing on things that we all have been already seen.

As soon as the movie starts you will know that this is going to be a 3 hour long cliché ride of boringness.

Comedy movie trying to tell us a dark and serious story.
26 July 2022
A Thor movie that cant hold up to the first two parts and looses itself in trying to be comedic, yet fails to present a dark and in all matter serious story about grief, death and sickness.

The only real highlight is the acting of Christian Bale, but sadly his character and screen time is reduced to a joke.

A forgettable movie.

Another generic movie from the Netflix mass-production
1 January 2021
A good movie to kill the silence in your room while you're doing something completely different and not really watching this movie. The acting is just horrific bad, the story just super cliche and uninteresting. The characters completely bland with no debth. The whole idea of a "bad boss" offers nothing new to the audience.

Godmothered (2020)

Good for a few laughs
1 January 2021
An interesting concept of a godmother parody with some few very nice ideas that will probably make you laugh. The acting is more mediocre with a relatively predictable storyline and some cliche "side stories" and characters. It's a good movie for a lazy afternoon to watch with the family.

Long stretched robotic drama without the great twist
22 December 2020
Almost 2 hours long sci-fi drama that fails to keep you entertained until the end. The movie includes very long landscape shots with also long unnecessary scenes to tell the more or less short core story. The focus here is on the main protagonist and his interaction with 3 robots. It keeps this kind of love dramatic focus trough the entire movie. The visual effects are good, except for how the last completed female robot looks ( like an ordinary human being with clearly distinguishable make-up). You keep waiting for something to happen, for a good twist, but that doesn't really happen. The twist at the end actually doesn't even fit in the whole movie concept and seemed kind of rushed. Tries to be something big, but ends up being to long with a lost focus in the storyline.

A long stretched two our empty space drama
27 September 2019
The movie delivers in the first half a mediocre interesting story and tries to make the character believable. After the first half it turns into a over dramatic, empty, story poor an boring space flick. The only thing that keeps you not leaving the theater is the curiosity of what lies at the end. And then, the movie gives itself a final slap in the face with an even more over-dramatic and completely uninteresting ending. Just two high tempo action scenes in a two hour space movie wrapped up in a poorly constructed sci-fiction story.

CGI Parade
25 September 2019
Poor story, boring CGI fights, CGI overuse, generic Villains, flat character development, lame jokes ... nothing really important or fun to see in this 2 hour cash grab movie.

A watchable comedy-fantasy movie
16 January 2019
It's obvious that the main audience target are children but the movie has enough elements to keep adults watch the movie till the end. Some mild horror-like elements appear trough the film, but nothing too scary. Mostly you'll enjoy the fantasy and comedy elements. The story is kind of interesting but lacks some more depth in the main parts and character side story's. Connections between characters are never really expressed and constructed trough the film. Characters have a comedic appearance with a great acting parts from Owen Vaccaro and Cate Blanchett. Overall, a watchable fantasy comedy movie for a quite evening.

The Predator (2018)

The predatory comedy reboot movie
17 September 2018
Instead of a predator movie all we got is to see a mediocre action comedy movie with the predator storyline being more of a side play instead of the main act. Less than a sixth ( 1/6 ) of the movie is based around the predator while the whole other parts center more around a bunch of two sentence characters fighting generic villain soldiers. The plot is ridiculous out of point and completely unrealistic. A franchise ruined.

A decent horror movie with bad acting and a bad storyline
8 November 2012
As a big silent hill fan I must say that I'm disappointed. The first silent hill movie was just amazing and I was hoping to see a good sequel, but instead I saw a movie that destroyed the story and Ideas of the first one.

There are two things that I really didn't like – ACTING and STORYLINE. The acting was just awful! The characters seem so inconvenient and lame, expect Kit Harington and Deborah. I couldn't enjoy this movie because the acting was very bothering me. Especially at the beginning of the movie where I just couldn't believe that the acting can look so unprofessional. I don't want to describe the scenes where the acting not to spoil parts, but really, it was terrible ! It's definitely the worst segment of this movie. Why could they put more effort into acting. ( acting = 4/10 )

The movie is not too short for a horror movie, but it's definitely too short for a silent hill movie. Silent hill games are famous for the complex, interesting and mystic story and that's why I played most of them. The first silent hill movie had a very nice and interesting story and created an amazing atmosphere and story development. I watched the first movie the night before I went to the cinema to remind myself what happened in the first part, but know I see that it was totally unnecessary. Everything good that was created in the first part was just destroyed in the second one. I felt like watching a low-budget movie because the story seemed so low and predictable. In some scenes it seemed like the story is being ˝throwed˝ at the audience just to get it out like the storyline is something that we should be bothered with. It's like watching a slasher movie and not a silent hill movie. The storyline and development of the characters is just mediocre. ( storyline 4.5/10, character development = 5/10 ).

After the awful story and acting, now a few words about the effects and atmosphere. The movie has a much lower budget than the first one, but the effects didn't seem to be less perfect in any way. There are many shocking and creepy scenes. There are more bloody scenes than in the first one. ( 8/10 )

Silent hill Revelation is a mediocre horror-movie with bad acting, bad storyline, but with many great horror-elements that will satisfy most of the horror movie fans.
