I had to check if it was a documentary after watching it. Well done!

I Love You (2016)

Totally unrealistic characters

Very bad movie. None of the characters felt real at all. I guess the script is to blame. Totally unrealistic from start to finish. Zero respect for the audience. One good scene at the hospital does not save this movie from disaster. When a scene starts you know were it is going before anyone has done anything.

The Assassin (2015)

Very very confusing

I consider myself a person who usually does not have a hard time understanding what is going on in movies - even the ones that require some thought from the viewer :) But during this movie, I almost never knew what was going on. It sounds absurd when I say it - but in many of the later scenes of the movie, I really did not know who the characters were or what they were trying to accomplish.

The pace of the movie is extremely slow, that could have been acceptable if it was made in a good way - which unfortunately is not the case.

The action sequences are well done and I cant fault the acting, but that does not save this terrible movie.

The Visit (I) (2015)
10/10
Very original and scary
29 September 2015
I found The Visit to be very well played by all four main characters, very funny(!) and scary as sh*t sometimes. Usually scary and funny together is a recipe for disaster if you ask me, but in The Visit - it works very well.

The found footage-thing is used in a realistic way and there is almost no scene where you think "there is now way the shot would be like that if this really was found footage" - as you often think when it comes to these kind of movies.

I was on the edge of my seat for a very long time. When me and my friend paused the movie to go to the bathroom, neither of us could believe our eyes when we saw that we were only 31 minutes in.

Besides being scary and funny, The Visit also has a nice drama element that actually makes you care about the characters which is something very rare in horror films.
