13 Going on 30 (2004)
below average teen flick
When I saw the trailers for it, it sounded promising but I was disappointed. The beginning is promising but after the girl changes into a 30 year old it's boring. Basically it's just about her having to write articles for a magazine and trying to get in touch with her old friend. Jennifer Garner should stick to movies like daredevil and elektra as she make's the character seem annoying and acts more like a 9 year old than a 13 year old at times, I should know as I'm 15 myself. The guy who played the older friend seemed uncomfortable in his role and was quite bland.
**SPOILERS** The ending is totally predictable, she changes back into a 13 year old again and ends up marrying her old friend. If you like the predictable cheesy teen romantic type then this film is for you.
Distraction (2003)
very dirty
I watched this by chance today after big brother came on and there was nothing else on so I saw it to see what it was like. It's OK but like someone said before too much of cruelty TV with I'm a celebrity get me outta here, jackass, takeshi's castle.. do they think we get pleasure out of watching people getting hurt? yea only when it look's good like in films but seriously who wants to see contestants jumping over ugly fat old fogie's and they're naked.. what a sight for sore eye's and that jimmy carr is very annoying occasionally sayin a funny joke but he delivers his jokes in that smartass kinda way and I don't like that. Well if your the kinda person that like's cruelty TV then go ahead and watch it.
Loose Women (1999)
could daytime television get any more boring..
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......
Whenever I'm off school ill I have to put up with this crap, basically just a load of old fogies talking about the news and how nice the weather is occasionally they may have a d-list celebrity on it's never funny or interesting for that matter.. it's nothing to write home about maybe it's just my age group but my dad agree's with me aswell poor him.. having to watch it everyday cos of my mom! I don't know how this got turned into a TV show I think ITV were desperate I'd rather see repeat's of coronation street then this I advise ya only to watch it if you wanna go to sleep
Cruel Intentions (1999)
great movie
Movie about bored Sebastian and Kathryn, Kathryn plan's to get revenge on Cecile for stealing her boyfeind so she become's her "friend" and force's her to do stuff. Sebastian has a bet with Kathryn that he can de-virginise Annette if he win's he get's to sleep with Kathryn if she win's she get's his prized Jaguar 56 roadster but he unexpectedly fall's in love with her..
Great Movie, very emotional, I cried, laughed and felt sorry for the characters. A must see. I've read a lot of the other review's and it seem's to me it's only the people who have seen dangerous liasons who are comparing it with cruel intentions or people likely to be in there 40's who are giving it a bad review. It's more likely to be appricated by 13-25 year old's (I'm 13). Very well acted a good performance by all of the actor's and Ryan Phillippe was charming, witty and hot! Sarah Michelle Gellar was great as the cold-hearted bitch Kathryn and Reese Witherspoon as the innocent virgin Annette, Selma Blair was funny as Cecile. I could watch the movie 24/7 without getting bored but I would'nt seeing as I got other thing's to do.
The soundtrack is great, I love the song's now I don't listen to one of the song's without thinking about cruel intentions.
I rate it 10/10.
