Ms. Marvel: Seeing Red (2022)
Lot of fragile white dudes review bombing this show
It's a great series. The characters are interesting, the exploration of Kamala's culture is fascinating, it's funny, and it has heart! The negative reviews are just another instance of fragile white dudes hating on something because it's different and scary to them.
The Orville: Electric Sheep (2022)
Snoreville is back
The visuals are adequate, but the storytelling is bland as usual. And sorry, but Seth is just not a leading man. He has never been a convincing captain and he's a pretty mediocre actor overall.
MechaRandom42: Lower Decks Season 2 Episode 1: Star Trek At It's Worst (2021)
More Like fandom at it's worst
Once again, the troll lashes out against new Star Trek with hate and gatekeeping. Avoid this person's biased reviews like the Tarellian plague.
MechaRandom42: Lower Decks Season 2 Reaction (2021)
Biased, based, and boring.
Nothing but negativity and gatekeeping here. Instead of celebrating a good show, this troll focused on negativity and hate. Hard pass.
Midnight's Edge: Star Trek Lower Decks Trailer Reaction - No Wonder Both Netflix and Amazon Passed on It! (2020)
Don't believe these gatekeeper trolls
This the fandom menace spreading their negativity and hate for a beloved franchise across the Internet for no good reason. They're divisive, they're miserable, they're wrong. Avoid at all costs.
The Haunting of Bly Manor: The Two Faces, Part Two (2020)
Ghostly explanation
Despite what other reviewers are saying, this episode is not confusing if you're paying attention. We finally get an explanation for Rebecca and Peter's fates. The plot is developed in a non-linear fashion. I guess some viewers get left behind when a plot isn't simple and predictable.
Unsolved Mysteries: Berkshires UFO (2020)
Only weak episode in the first volume
I thoroughly enjoyed the other five episodes in this volume. This one is pretty terrible though. It's just your run of the mill UFO story with a bunch of nutballs describing some bright lights they might have seen. The only unsolved mystery here is how this story made the cut and got thrown in with more riveting ones.
Avenue 5: I Was Flying (2020)
Abissmal
I really tried to like this show. After watching the first three episodes, I can't say that I do. Not one of the characters is likeable, the comedy falls entirely flat, and the show is generally boring. There's not a chance that this show will continue past its first season. It's just plain awful.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 5: The Gunslinger (2019)
Learn the difference between "filler" and character development.
No, this is not an action packed episode. It does have character development. Do we need a solid 40 minutes of special effects and blasters? No. There's nothing wrong with enjoying some character work and beautiful scenery. This episode has both.
Lore: They Made a Tonic (2017)
Interesting but poorly narrated
The acting and story is interesting, but the narrator sounds like a terrible William Shatner impersonater - robotic and strange emphasis and pauses mid-sentence. I found this distracting, but the history behind the story was intriguing enough to keep watching.
The Orville: A Happy Refrain (2019)
Back to Bleh
One review said that Trek has never done this kind of story. Apparently they missed the episode where Data tries to date a crew member. This show is NOT Star Trek but it sure does "borrow" a hell of a lot of old stories. Not original, not appealing, very meh.
Titans: Titans (2018)
Had Promise
The pilot started off well. Interesting characters, well choreographed action sequences... but that terrible CGI tiger at the very end. If that's going to be a recurring character going forward, I'm not sure I can get into it... looks like a video game character edited into the scene and not in any way believable. Takes you right out of the scene.
The Orville: Primal Urges (2019)
Can't Get Any Worse
Weakest episode so far. The show has taken a nosedive in quality so far this season. Bortus is an uninteresting Klingon knockoff and the first two episodes have been mainly about him. I'm expecting the second season to get better but so far... Bleh. Still think this is the best "Star Trek" shown on the air right now?
Mother Goose Club (2009)
It's meant for babies? No kidding.
It's songs and nursery rhymes for young children. Nice variety of scenery and props to keep a little one entertained.
