Dear Evan Hansen (2021)
Evan is an a-hole, guys?
Evan gaslights and manipulates a grieving family. His intentions are 50% "I'm sad and want a real family" and "50% I wanna be with this girl". I LOVE musicals, no matter the genre. I can cry, laugh, or dance to any musicals. Even sad songs within Les Misérables are still fantastic, regardless of the scene, I'm still able to appreciate the music. With Dear Evan Hansen, I can't listen to the songs and enjoy them, even though they are great, because the premise of the musical is too infuriating. Evan has no redeeming qualities and the reveal of him trying to commit suicide was evident 1/2 way through and it STILL did not redeem his actions.
Disappointing.
Bad Trip (2021)
Hour & A Half Eric Andre Episode!!
Don't watch this if you're stuck up. This movie is hilarious and the 1 reviews are ridiculous. If you are going to give this movie a 1 you shouldn't have watched it in the first place. If you know Eric Andre you know what you're getting yourself into. Amazing movie
Happy Anniversary (2018)
Truly a story of young love
Being in your 20s and having your whole life ahead of you is a crazy time. Wondering if you're going to be with that person for the rest of your life is stressful and hard and people make mistakes. It's a very good take on a realistic relationship.
Wonder Woman (2017)
PLEASE go see this movie!
The BEST DC movie ever. Hands down.
This movie was beautiful, funny, and empowering. By the end, I was in tears because of how much this movie meant to me. There's of course a few strange CGI choices, but overall you really don't notice them because of how powerful the movie is.
I didn't want to be Wonder Woman while watching this movie, I wanted to be Gal Gadot who gave a SPECTACULAR performance. It felt like more of a superhero movie than any other DC movie in the past.
This movie truly deserves all your love.
