As I haven't read the book(s), I don't really know if the film is a good adaptation or not and ,judging by the reviews, it isn't. However, the reviews (not the film) made me want to read the book.

For me, the most annoying thing was the main actres: for a person who has such a crushing influence on men, she didn't have any appeal at all. I was really suffering watching her and listening to her feeble voice.

On the other hand, the film had too prolonged love scenes which madie it boring.

The reasons why some characters behaved were very often not clear. Maybe they were clearer in the book.

On the whole, I don't consider the film very bad , it is definitely too long but there were many good scenes.

Yes, the music is terrible, but I´ve heard worse. And to my surprise there weren´t so many bad reviews. Yes, the plot has many holes, but I´ve seen more. Yes, the acting was bad but I´ve seen worse and nobody or not as many people as here complained.

However, I have only two questions: How could she have so perfectly made manicure being in prison and later when she escaped, having gone through so many hardshipss? There are more questions, The second question: How could they conceive something so stupid? I mean all the plot..

And another question, why do some reviews are so short and I have to write to meet the limit of 600 characters?

I haven't seen a good horror for a long time. That film kept me in tension and fear and awe. I really can understand why they started to kill, they felt forgotten , they felt envy of people who were young. The mother and the father were good parents, that needs to be noted. The viewer , in my humble opinion, got what they wanted from a horror movie and more. The film is quite better in the original version, dubbing takes the fun away, even if you don' t know the language,. The conclusion: respect old people because you can be old and forgotten one day. On the other hand, why do they forget about you? It can be just your own fault.

Sorry, but no. I usually like Brendan Fehr, but in this film he was awfully boring, so were the other actors with these false smiles. The niece seemed to have false hair in addition. I wonder how it is that there are reviews that are very short and I have to write 332 characters more. I wornder why some reviewrs post reviews with horrid grammatical errors.

In one review somebody wrote 'we'll done' instead of 'well done' . I think it is a kind of lack of respect . My suggestion is to have your review corrected before you post it. I don't think they should employ a proof reader to read those reviews, but on the other hand, why not?

Oh, my god. I read the reviews, but as usual, I watched the film. The reviewers who warned me about bad acting weren't in the wrong at all. They didn't warn me that the main actor played as he always does, that is as he had swallowed a very long stick. They warned me that there was no magic , but nobody said that the plot was as flat as an ironing board and so were the dialogs. I nearly died inside when I watched the lead 'actress' pretending that she couldn't dance. By the way, did she also pretend that she couldn't walk in high heeled shoes? The only good thing was the sights, but, unfortunately there were too few of them.

It was a real fun until the last moments when I saw Sandra Bullock with her mask and artificial voice which was like a bucket of cold water.

(I need to write more although I don't want to, which makes me think of all those reviews that do have only one line.)

What is more, I liked Brad Pitt in this comediean role although I usually thought he is overestimated. I agree that there were several implausible scenes, but it is just a movie which should entertain us and this film really fulfilled its role.

On the other hand, the film was really well done. We are staritng to be on another level and it is really very difficult to make a good comedy which will satisfy everybody.

I'm sorry for putting my coin into it, but I think that both haters and likers of the film and the book are right. They are both masterpieces, it is like when you see yourself in the mirror: you hate the image but you have to accept it.

I hate that kind of people like Alex but I cannot kill them all, This film and the book are in fact about helplessness. All people who hate or like the film are right, we are all helpless facing the violence, the lesson behind is: how to eliminate it? The solution given by 'Clockwork Orange' does not seem to work.

Well, sometimes I don't have another option but to watch a film again. But that's not bad. I can discover new things or confirm my previous feelings.

The film was enjoyable for me again although I was wondering all the time why the main actress had such horrilble makeup. They should fire the makeup staff.

First of all, I like French films. They are much less artificial than majority of American films and a lot better played. Of course, if somebody is looking for faults, they will always find something.

However, on the whole, I really did enjoy the suspense and had fun watching it, a decent thriller.

I'm the first here, and it is a weird feeling.

The name of the main character was funny, my friends have a dog with that name. Dina Meyer, who played just this character, wasn't as stiff and predictable with her usual mimicry, in this film she was less inrritating than usually.

The whole film wasn't very good , but also wasn't very bad, the action was too slow, but kept me interested, anyway. I finished watching the film a little disappointed. I would like to see a different ending,

They were right, hahaha. Anyway, I had some good laugh at the artificiality of everything there. Kirsty Swansot did not surprise me, but all the other actors were wooden, like the plot.

Not only is the topic very present in our lives, but also the acting was very good on the part of all the actors and particularly the main character.

I think there should be a zero which would mark 'the average' and then up to ten points for ' below the average' They feed us with films that offend our intelligence and sense of art and we are forced to give those films positive points when ,for example, I die inside. Haylle Duff is horrible, but maybe less horrible than Danica McKeller whose voice hurts my ears.

I wonder how it is even possible that this film has 5.7 in IMDb rating, better than any film in which actors PLAYED and the screenplay was at least MEDIOCRE.

This movie was impossible to watch for me, athough I usually watch films through no matter bad they are. This film beats all bad films I have watched and if anybody asked me what the worst film ever is I would name this title, It does not deserve to be called a film , not speaking of showing it.

I agree with all the bad reviews. However, I need to say that the actor who played Alex was really outstanding in his bad manner of acting. The plot was, like most of reviewers said, hardly plausible. They do not have any respect for their viewers, probably they think we are all idiots.

Hello, I have never had so much laugh while reading a review,I absolutely agree with your comments, I loved them.

I must also add that the acting is close to horrible,not speaking of the fact that I have rarely seen Linsay Hartley playing well. I often wonder why they employ mediocre actors while probably there are thousands of good actors without a job.

What is more, I detest those comments that they are television films as an excuse for their being badly made They are films too, for goodness sake.

I wonder where they take all these bad actors from. They monotonously recite their parts, the longer the worse. Is the director to be blamed? It is NOT because it is a Hallmark film, I have seen very well played films here, too.

The only thing I didn't like was artificial Jennifer Love Hewitt.There are a lot of actresses that star a film not making the least effort to make themselves plausible. She is not the only one, unfortunately. How do they get the main roles?

It is not a wate of time, anyway. I have seen much worse films. The dialogues are sometimes so naïve, so artificial than you wonder: 'really? I agree with darrell, there are too many too close close-ups to Patricia Pratt's artificial face so you become fed up with it quite before the end of the film. The best of the film is that it is really funny to see how badly the actors play.

This movie is so stupid that it is beyond my limits of understanding, but it wasn't a waste of time. This is only a movie, reality goes further beyond these limits, it is enough to look at the ranking of this film or the news from Britain.

This is my first review ever.I decided to watch it because of Slipknot's video. WE DEFINITELY LOVE IT (I often watch series with my son)!!! The music is fantastic and the way Jack Quaid develops his character is fascinating. Gripping and really recommended to watch.
