The Girl Next Door (2004)
Elisha sold out...
The only reason, when watching that awful Popular Mechanics for Kids show back in the day, that I cared at all for it, was for an innocent blonde Canadian that, when you're a kid and Hollywood's slutty type doesn't really attract you, really drew me in.
I had respect left for one actress, hoping that a Canadian would respect herself a bit more than our American actresses...
Looking back, I wish I'd never wasted my time. Because she, just like any actress, grew up and bared it all.
Does anyone else miss when Elisha was "our little secret", and didn't have any starring roles in flicks and TV shows, except of course Canadian-produced shows such as Popular Mechanics for Kids, and of course Nickelodeon's "Are You Afraid Of The Dark?" She was our untold secret, very pretty, but not nude, almost a symbol of purity, something that couldn't be stolen from Canada's sweetheart...
Something American filmmakers obviously know nothing about. Purity, abstinence from sexual behaviorisms. I'm not talking' God, I'm an Atheist, but this is my opinion, this is what Hollywood has become, what the whole of America is becoming, and it's disgusting.
This movie, and American Pie, are the prime examples of what I would use to describe what, and at the same time, WHY, teenage America has become a snake pit of sexual mannerisms and disgusting movies.
Not only disgusting in sexuality, but my gosh look at what they did to Resident Evil, it went from a realistic horror video game, to a fake action movie where of course they're gonna do back-flips and cartwheels while attacking zombies, instead of the video game's "hopeless" feel, that actually MADE IT a HORROR game.
I could play the 2nd Resident Evil, record it, and it would be 10x more realistic than the D-movies that are being released, that have bad acting and people who are OBVIOUSLY not scared, intimidated, or at all worried about the "horror")
When I first saw the TV Promo for The Girl Next Door, it was all I could do not to throw the ashtray at the TV. She's changed, people unfortunately do change, they follow the sexual mainstream and turn slutty. Keep your girlfriends in lock, young men, for the only reason "Cheaters" only features cheating men, is because they haven't enough film to capture all of the cheating women on tape.
Don't "Blame Canada" for this one, folks, because Elisha wasn't like this until she crossed over our border, was she?
Undressed (1999)
An ugly window into the future of our youth...
At what point did society go from "wait until marriage", to "try and wait until the third date"? And at what point did MTV completely abandon the idea of music?
At what time did MTV go from "music for everyone", to "let's teach the youth of our viewing audience to engage in sexual activities"?
It is somewhat poetic that Undressed premiered in '99, because it brought us into the millennium with a window of just how perverted our society, our movies, or TV shows, even our video games, have become.
What isn't poetic is the fact that this show is aimed toward teens, not encouraging abstinence; the show is considered a comedy?!
Well, that's what our society, especially America, has become. A JOKE. A wasteland of sexual deviants and so many porn, and wanna-be porn stars that the internet is flooded with nymphomaniacs. Whether it is a site dedicated to showing you sexually willing men and women of virtually all ages from your area, to displaying themselves involved in sexual acts for everyone, including youth, to view. Undressed being, basically, "soft"core porn, featuring youth, being displayed to youth (as well as horny old men just watching and wanting girls like, I dunno- YOUR DAUGHTER? Noone really cares until it's their children whose innocence has been lost.)
We've gone from "possibly by college", to 1 of 3 girls losing their virginity before 8th grade. 1 of 3. And who's to say that one isn't going to encourage the other 2 to become involved in the same activity? Maybe all 3 will sit and watch a show like "Undressed", and the odds will go to 3/3.
The moral decline in our society, and depiction of it on TV, is disgusting, to the point where I feel like driving a rocket into space to destroy our satellites.
Movies like American Pie, one that advances the idiotic belief that oral sex isn't sex. TV Shows like Elimidate, Blind Date, and other monstrosities, and monstrous specials like "Naked Dating". I don't date anymore. I'd sooner go gay than become a plaything of women nowadays.
If you care about your children, try your hardest to prevent Undressed from being released on DVD, re-aired, or in any way resurrected from the dead.
