American Health & Fitness (1999)
Delightful, informative show
American Health and Fitness was a well balanced show between physical fitness, nutrition and entertainment. It wasn't your normal dry, work out show. Everyone on it had an upbeat attitude. I loved the daily segment on cooking nutritionally. My favorite episodes were the ones on water safety, the Forest Gump spin off and when Clark's best friend was visiting. My favorite guest host was Tia. Clark and Tia had wonderful show chemistry. He's a hunk and she was a cutie with an outrageous body. It was so funny when the both of them broke out in laughter when they slid off the big blue ball because of the dew. I'm not one to normally watch fitness shows but, American Health and Fitness was exceptional. It was so informative and also entertaining. The only thing that would make it better would be if I could watch it on a regular TV channel because I do not get the health network anymore!
Double Dare 2000 (2000)
Double Dare 2K
I thought DD2K lasted 2 seasons and I'm sorry it wasn't longer. It was a show that the whole family could watch, play along with and cheer on. The sets were colorful and magical. You can still see it on GAS (Nickelodeon Cable Station), but if you don't have the full monty of cable, you are out of luck. It's too bad Nickelodeon didn't give the viewers more time to work it into their TV watching schedules. I remembering rushing home from work or setting the VCR to tape it and it wouldn't be on that day or would be on at a different time. Eventually I just gave up. I do want to give kudos to the cast. I thought they all had an amazing energy level and Tia...Tia was the cutest! I remember the show when she came out riding on top of a giant birthday cake, wearing a wedding dress that was going to be used in the physical challenge. I still think Nick should bring it back! Good luck to all the cast in their future endeavors.
Characters (2001)
Characters
Characters is a delightful film. It is fresh, funny, but yet realistic with real life battles to pick and overcome. The versatility of the lifestyles were intriguing. It shows the trial and tribulations and choices everyone faces upon coming of age and setting goals; do we take risk to fulfill our dreams or lay out the future with well planned stepping stones. I think it would make a great sitcom! I found myself wanting to know more about each character, their personal lives as well as the paths they take and what happens along the way. Comically, I can identify each character in the film with someone I personally know. The world needs a group of new friends to share their lives with. "THE NEW FRIENDS STORY"
