This movie may not be the most exciting I've ever seen because you can guess the identity of the killer within the first few minutes.But what makes it interesting is the performance of John Allen Nelson as the crime suspect Connor Ashcroft.The role of a playboy,who obviously is irresistible to women,fits him absolutely perfect.He plays both this erotic component as well as his dark side more than convincing.I can think of no one who could present it better! The performance of Joan Severance as Detective Melanie Hudson isn't quite as convincing.No doubt she's a good actress,but you just don't believe her to be a tough cop.So good acting is not enough sometimes. All in all the movie is worth watching it,I'll give it 7 out of 10.

When I watched this movie on DVD I was quite disappointed.The plot is unrealistic and the directing is just poor.There was nothing of the charm the series had especially in the first season.Pamela Anderson was just getting on my nerves - I could hardly stand her talentless acting (good acting has obviously never been the reason she got the role...)!This movie has totally failed. The only good thing I can say about it is the good idea of bringing back some of the old cast.Billy Warlock looked cute and John Allen Nelson is still a hunk.So in the end there was at least one good reason to watch it!

Shelter is a classic action movie : there is a lot of shooting,explosions and some bloodshed. I think that some violent scenes were not really necessary, but nevertheless I like this movie. It is produced well and it's just exciting to watch. The plot contains some good ideas which distinguishes it from other movies of this genre. John Allen Nelson as ATF Agent Martin Roberts is completely convincing and also Brenda Bakke as Helena does a good job. All in all the movie is worth the money, go watch it!

I already watched Baywatch when it was first showed in Germany in 1990 and I still love it-but only the first season.Baywatch was just getting worse after the first season,and since Pamela Anderson appeared they should really have canceled it immediately.The plots became foolish and the acting was getting horrible-but the breasts of the "actresses" became bigger.The whole "Baywatch Babes"-thing completely ruined the show-what a pity! So I really enjoy watching the first 23 episodes when such actors as Parker Stevenson,Shawn Weatherly and John Allen Nelson made me laugh and having a good time.Yes-I have to confess that I mostly enjoy the episodes with John Allen Nelson,for he is the cutest and sexiest lifeguard that ever played in Baywatch-there's just no one like him! When I watched "Hawaiian Reunion" I was surprised how good-looking he still is,and even if the plot of the film was ridiculous and absurd,it was worth watching it-because of John Allen Nelson.
