Valley of the Dolls (1967)
Not worth anyone's time
this movie is just so dull. I rented it expecting to see wonderful acting and fabulous stage numbers...I was wrong. This is not the best movie ever..I hear that Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls is worse than this one...but I wont get into details of that..I haven't seen that one yet. But for now I'll stick with this. If you're looking for great entertainment...you wont find it with this... it just didn't live up to my expectations. I can't believe they'd cast Patty Duke and Sharon Tate in this piece of garbage...they're wonderful actresses...i guess they didn't think it would turn out to be one of the worst movies ever. Sadly I have to give this movie a 6/10.
Stone Pillow (1985)
great movie...wonderful entertainment from Lucille Ball
This movie proves that even though Lucille Ball was 74 years old, she can still put on a great performance. Lucille Ball is great as Florabelle, an elderly bag lady trying to survive on the streets of New York City. Daphne Zaniga is excellent as Carrie Lang, the young social worker that works hard to get Florabelle off the streets.
This movie is very touching. Lucille Ball is great as her performance with Florabelle.
I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone. It is worth the money in the end.
I give this movie a 9/10
Lucy & Desi: Before the Laughter (1991)
Wonderful movie!!!! ***Contains spoilers***
I enjoyed this movie very much.
This is the only Lucille Ball/ Desi Arnaz biopic I've seen. I have yet to see "Lucy" with Rachel York.
I liked how it started out with the beginning of I Love Lucy and flashes back to when Lucille Ball meets Desi Arnaz. Then it kind of flashes forward and you get both perspectives. It didn't let you know about how Lucille fought with Vivian Vance, or the fact that William Frawley had drinking problems. You get about as a good behind the scenes look as I think you'd get out of a biopic movie.
I'd give this film a 7/10
Thanks for your time.
Goodbye, Norma Jean (1976)
AWFUL TRASHY DON'T WATCH IT.
I made the mistake of watching this and buying it. I have a lot of stuff to say to make this movie seem like junk and it is.
Marilyn was never forced to have sexual relations with any of her casting directors. The studio names were messed up, the modeling agency she was at was not named the same. It's full of nudity and Marilyn didn't do anything like that until Somethings Got To Give and the famous Playboy issue. She wasn't raped by a police man. All the none sense about the "Whamo ammo" girl trash is all false. The names are wrong, except for Norma Jean Baker, that seems to be the only thing Larry Buchanan could spell.
I hated this movie and if anyone wants to disagree with me and say its good then they're wrong and wasting their time.
I'd give it 1/2 out of 4 stars.
Student Seduction (2003)
wonderful movie
Student Seduction is a wonderful movie.
At first when i saw Elizabeth Berkley was in it, I thought it would be another reprise of her performance in Showgirls, which was to say totally awful.
But then when i watched it i realized it was a new and improved Elizabeth Berkley. Which i thought was wonderful. She went from Saved by the Bell to Showgirls and now Student Seduction.
Its a wonderful movie.

Blonde (2001)
Excellent, but could have been more accurate
I saw this movie, and i thought it was as pretty accurate as it could be. It was certainly more accurate than Norma Jean and Marilyn, and all the other biopics of Marilyn Monroe. Norma Jean and Marilyn have a ton of errors. Marilyn didn't die in the bathroom, and the scene set in New York is totally wrong, it was combined with what happened in New York and what happened when they footage from New York had to be re-shot. Because of the whole crowd deal and stuff. The whole thing about her dress was totally incorrect, she didn't do anything like that, she was however tightly in the dress.
I only however got to see the first part and don't know how the second part went. But i bet it was pretty close and accurate.
