Oh Dear

Warning: Spoilers
After two days straight of watching comedy maybe my inner Fine Art connoisseur is dead or contracted.

The ending is worth it but I felt it was a struggle to get through the story. Many many mildly interesting characters, but I wasn't buying it.

The pace killed me.I didn't connect with any of the characters or find anything that would make me watch this movie again.

In fact I hated it. The best part for me was the trailer for the short "Silence"

Yes beautiful photography at times, love the touch of surrealism, and I love that Trucker and there's some worthy scenes.

Perhaps it's just not for me, but it felt really lukewarm to me bit of a Gardan State.

You and Me and The Devil Makes Three

Warning: Spoilers
I am usually put into a state of Sorrow by most films I see, as I think at this stage it could be a lost art. Or perhaps I just need a new DVD collection. Never fear, cry the Cohen brothers, as they more than renew my love of Film and affirm to me it still is a very powerful tool.

Films should capture something, should make you think, make you laugh , make you cry. They should be so seamlessly made you forget there might be a set somewhere, The careful Alchemy of The Cohen's proves they still know this.

Thoroughly enjoyable film, genuinely funny, and truly American. To take the idea of Homers ye old Grecian tale wrap it up in old time music and cinematography so great-hmm- I have spun out all the reasons why one should watch this movie to anyone whose ever asked.

So let me give the highest commendation I can. It's a damn good film.

It is a masterpiece of Storytelling and Technical proficiency. It is the only film out of maybe 4 5 others I felt necessary to buy after it's Cinema run was over.

-and ladies the score is orgasmic so forget the rabbit and watch this instead-

Do not address other Reviwers. Okay Fine. If you watch this film and think it's gay-bashing you do not know, that gay people have a sense of humour too.

Ridiculous idea to start with, a surprisingly fun and engaging comedy.Tolerance and Acceptance and avoiding Fraud charges -key words,so lets go

The scene in the shower room after the lads find out about Chuck and Larry is Priceless.

Like a lot of Adam Sandler films you still get the impression it's aimed at 20 year old boys with a 12 year old s mentality at times but it more than makes up for it with the fact that, unlike most comedies watched in this horrid horrid experiment of mine. It made me laugh. Copious amount of Laughter. And I would watch it again

Laid back Fun

*Spolier*

I'm as ready to cringe as anyone once Mr Sandler is on the screen but this was a surprisingly enjoyable film. The Chemistry between Annistons Character and Sandlers was believable. I thought the kids were absolutely adorable and Dolph provided the crude humor for the older but immature people in the Audience. Perhaps the ending is a little clichéd but I really enjoyed this film. It doesn't stick to stereotypes, take itself to seriously, neither is it ___ trying to ___ like Thats My Boy. I despise Comedies, they generally try to hard and never have anything for my brain to chew on. I love good storytelling though, no matter how simple the tale is. Tell it well and that's all that matter.
