Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller: Guns (2021)
Such an intense episode
Well, I have to say, this was a hell of a high-level journalsim journey! The insights the reportage gave involved us in that terrifying and.jaw-dropper "world" and we loved it. Thank you, Mariana van Z!
Mr. Robot: Hello, Elliot (2019)
Domo arigato, Mr Roboto
Guys, this will be always remembered as an epic, unique tv experience. During 4 amazing seasons, Mr robot teached us a new way of watching video content. He offered us the opportunity to experience something new, but pleasant to the eye, that will take it through a roller-coaster of feelings and mind-blowing moments.
Rami Malek along with his fellows, Slater, Chaikin and damn god, B.D.Wong, had some astonishing performances.
Am I not right, Peanuts?
Thank you so much, Sam Esmail, too for sharing your wish of mixing so many cinematographic styles with us. We have had a hell of a ride and it ended with the perfect tone!
Farewell!
Umbre: Episode #3.6 (2019)
Best of this season
This is probably the best episode of season 3. The rivalry between Relu and Emi went to the next step and it offered us such a great cinematographic experience. You could feel the tension and this tension transformed into eagerness to see the outcome.
And this is not all. Be prepared!
Thank you Hbo for creating the best Romanian tv serie ever!
The Mandalorian (2019)
Star Wars at its finest
I just love this tv-serie! The story, the star wars universe with its breathtaking views, the incredible special effects, even the music make The Mandalorian one of best tv-shows that appeared this fall. Good job Jon Favreau and congrats to Disney which promises us high-level content.
Suits: Good-Bye (2018)
Emotionless finale
Lately, Suits became such a predictable story. You could have guessed from the start of the episode what would happen next. I start to believe that the director refuses to work harder in creating a smarter plot.
Regarding the end of the series, there is nothing to say. I am deeply disappointed. After a long, meaningless mid-season, the director decided to come up with some intrigue that involves Jessica, some unexpected issues faced by the company and about Mike and Rachel, well, wrong decision.
If you were to ask me If there is something remarkable to remember from this season, I gotta say that it would be hard to answer. The creators should re-think the way they see the future of the show. Otherwise, it will lose its fans.
Samira (2016)
Heartbreaking
One of the best short movies I ever watched. Everything is so well-made, the characters, the action, the message and of course, the moving end. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to watch such a movie and I truly encourage you to give it a chance! Definitely, it is not a waste of time!
Moonlight (2016)
More a political than a cinematographic award
Probably, the most overrated movie from 2016, but the problem is not the undeserved success. The annoying thing is the reason why this movie won the so called "The Best Movie of the Year" award and it's pretty simple to think of some motives. First of all, the fuss regarding the racism from Hollywood and, indeed, it s true that Hollywood tends or used to give more attention to white people, whether we talk about actors or movies. Secondly, Donald Trump's election with every stupid thing he says and supports gave birth to a strong hostility from Hollywood and we have some real proofs(Meryl Streep's speech and other indirect attacks). There are many more examples and this movie is an evidence that Hollywood wants to fight against the political system which is definitely not a bad thing, but maybe it should take the cinematographic work into account more than other goals when it comes to famous awarding events. All in all, in my opinion, it's a pity that now movies constitute political means and Hollywood uses them with no atonement. People pay interest into Oscars and this movie doesn't deserve so much attention.
