When Calls the Heart: Rock, A Bye, Baby (2022)
Loved it!
Beautiful finale. Henry and Bill's stories were concerning, in different ways, but I'm confident the writers will bring them through to the other side. Rosemary and Lee are having a baby! Thank goodness. I love those two. I'm glad Nathan is taking his time and playing the field. He deserves to find a woman who loves him back. Elizabeth wasn't for him and I'm happy he's finally realizing it. The engagement scene was outstanding...even better than expected. I loved it and I adore Lucas and Elizabeth! Looking forward to their wedding. Anxiously awaiting Season 10 to see what's in store for everyone in Hope Valley.
When Calls the Heart: Out Like a Lamb (2022)
So good!
Enjoyed the episode. The romance is fabulous. The town is getting crowded. So much overall story unfolding. Hickam is mayor! I love it. He's been an underutilized character for too long. I think there will be a huge learning curve but he's a smart guy and will step up and do his job.
When Calls the Heart: Turn of the Page (2022)
Thoroughly Enjoyed
My favorite episode of the season, so far. That ending was completely unexpected and intriguing. I absolutely loved it. The overall adventure is continuing to move forward with so many characters being highlighted. I am excited for more. Excellent storytelling, acting and directing.
When Calls the Heart: In Like a Lion (2022)
Wonderful
I am thrilled that Season 9 has finally arrived and I wasn't disappointed with this premiere. WCTH has quite a delightful ensemble cast which entertained me yet again. I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for all the characters during the remainder of the season.
Christmas Bells Are Ringing (2018)
Enjoyed
I loved everything about this movie. Everything. I search for it on Hallmark Channel every Christmas season.
Winter Love Story (2019)
Mixed Feelings
The story was very Hallmark like...in a good way. Enjoyed it even though the ending was predictable. I loved the female lead and her character. The male lead and his character? Not so much. Talk about a bland interpretation! Thus, only 5 stars.
A Winter Getaway (2021)
Loved Lead Actor
The movie deserves a 3 or 4 rating. Predictable storyline from very beginning. I rated it a 7 because I loved the lead actor and his unique acting choices throughout the movie. Very likable character. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous scenery. Canada has a lot to offer. Other than those two examples, this movie is nothing special.
USS Christmas (2020)
Enjoyable
I enjoyed the general premise of the movie, the scenery, and the acting (love Jen Lily) despite the fact that the two leads had little chemistry with one another.
A Timeless Christmas (2020)
Give this movie a try
Liked this one quite a bit. I love time travel stories, in general, and the addition of the Christmas setting added to my enjoyment. Wasn't quite sure how the story would play out which rarely happens with a Hallmark movie. Good cast.
12 Gifts of Christmas (2015)
Not bad
Good acting and storyline. I enjoyed this movie for a number of reasons but mostly because of the two leads who complimented one another. However, it felt like she was "cheating" on the character, Ben Tannenhill from another Hallmark movie, Snow Bride. (Just kidding...sort of). Loved that coupling.
Jersey Boys (2014)
Enjoyable...
My husband and I saw the movie yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great acting, storytelling, and directing. We want to see it again! While watching, you get the flavor of the Broadway play production (we saw the original cast on Broadway)but also the nuances only a film can offer.
Our only regret is that we, the audience, were never shown pictures or even a snippet of the original Four Seasons members performing. Thought sure we would have been given that during the credits....or somewhere.
The only negative was that we chuckled at the way the guys were made to look "older" at the Hall of Fame performance. My God! They appeared to be in their mid 80s....which certainly wasn't the case.
We LOVED the finale.
Go see it!
