Committed (2005)
Vey quick and Fun, Hope it stays for a long run!
12 January 2005
A whole lot of funny Potential here. This is a quirky and fun new sitcom, that has that something that hum Let me see

..... I know! Iknow! It makes you laugh. The Characters are funny and still a bit tense, but hopefully this new series will have the chance to stay on long enough to pick their development and keep us laughing as opposed to what there is on TV now, if it is funny well so is the mumps. With exception to "E.B.L. RAYMOND" and "Still Standing" and sometimes "Listen Up", there are not many funny sitcoms on anymore. Heck Friends just ended last year, yet it sucked for the last 3 years it was on anyway. Back to basic's "Committed" is witty and just a whole lot of laughs, hope it makes it.

Fatal Vision (1984)
Oh Come on now (spoiler ????)
29 November 2004
Warning: Spoilers
I find it ridiculous that one can even question Macdonalds guilt. There is no question, HE IS GUILTY. Sure there may have been a small, very small amount of doubt, but opposed to the GREAT amount of EVIDENCE that piles high, in fact shows his guilt. As far as Joe McGinness, Macdonald wanted and gave him information for the book. Yes he may have sued, how strange after it bit him in the ass. People need to comprehend that sociopaths are just that, as was Macdonald, clearly he lacked remorse, judgment and creditability (when it came down to it,pain ). Watching this monster on court TV interview, it would be guaranteed if he got out he would kill again.

Friends (1994–2004)
Good at first SO poor at the end! (Spoilers Maybe)
24 November 2004
Warning: Spoilers
I did not start watching Friends Until 1998 And really liked it and I dug all the re-runs. I enjoyed their friendships and their love and loyalty to each other. It was nice, witty, clever and FUNNY. I haven't a clue as to what happened around 2000 going in to 2001. The chemistry was not longer their, the actors were going through the motions and their performances were forced.

Also,WHAT is up with the writers and directors at this point? I mean what the hell? Toward the end the thing with Joey and Rachael? Again I say What the @#$**!!@@?Rachael had ALWAYS been so turned off and disgusted by Joey (the man not the friend) how and why on earth could she would she ever be attracted to him? BIG MISTAKE there. Of course I am forgetting to add THEY ARE FRIENDS!! What did the shows producers want all these friends screwing each other?

Not only that what the hell happened to the WORLD outside from the six of them. Towards the end you never really heard or saw anyone except them. How ridiculous and unreal!!! Parents, children other friends or acquaintances WHERE ARE YOU? Also What about Ross and Rachael's daughter Emma???????????????? She was like a year old where the hell was she all the time?????????? Why the hell bring that subject matter in to the sitcom and not follow through?

I really did enjoy this show from it's early years, at the end It Was Such A Disappointment. It honestly should have left the air in 2000. Know when to leave and not painfully drag on with petty drama. It was a COMEDY, not a damn SOAP.

So Long Friends, Wish we could have said good bye in 2000, when you were still somewhat funny.

Thirteen (2003)
SAD, EXCELLENT and very REAL
22 November 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This movie I believe upsets so many because it is so REAL. Obviously not real to ALL, how pathetic and inhuman would that be ( we are not robotic clones). Yet, I can understand how some younger reviewers can not relate. I am quite sure that when re-(Viewers) say it is realistic, it is due to experience and witness. Unfortunately not everyone has a functional life or functional parents. As to one viewer who made a statement about the mother not taking action by calling the police, well to that person I say GROW-UP and live in someone else's shoes for a day. Everyone does not have parents that Take any action or the appropriate action as needed in this scenario. Today's most parents want to be their kids buddy, Which I COMPLETELY DISAGREE WITH BY THE BY. As far as the needed popularity.............. Well DUH... Most young people want to be popular and hang with the "In Crowd", that is how some are. Some are to weak to stand their ground with who they are. It is tough being a teenager. I myself was a nerd, hung around with a bunch or nerds and had a ton of "cool Friends" and I saw the life they lead, I did not follow. Young People,... In life we have CHOICES, in this movie (SPOILER POSSIBLY) Tracy choose to make poor choices, she was also hurting and needy for attention and Perhaps some authority from her parental units. This Is an excellent and I reiterate very REAL, movie, touching some very REAL problems our youth and their Parents face Yesterday, Today and most Likely Tomorrow. Parents of teenagers, should Watch this movie, Not just see it But Grasp what could happen to anyone's family regardless of status, wealth or race.

WORST in Law & ORDER SERIES
22 November 2004
The acting in this series is so trite and poor, the most unrealistic police and court occurrences.

............................................................................................................................................ I can not believe this is even part of the LAW & ORDER Chain.......... ....................................................................................................................................................Law & Order and Law & Order C I are so amazing and well thought out and projected. There seems to be no effort or brain activity occurring with these outrageous and UNREALISTIC episodes. What Happened here?????????????????????? Still In SHOCK this is still airing!!! Out Of Stars ----------- NEGITIVE - 10

In the Name of the People (2000 TV Movie)
upsetting
10 November 2004
I must say that I do not quite understand how this family could have a bit of mercy on the man who killed their only daughter. He wanted compassion from them for his daughter, and what the hell does that mean. He made a choice, not giving any reason as to what made him do it, and killed a lovely young girl. I also found his aggression quite disgusting, he took the life of these people's daughter, and he wanted sympathy. What ever. He confessed was found guilty and was sentenced to death. Perhaps he should have thought about his daughter, before he murdered someone else's.

People Please! This movie is EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
9 November 2004
The Bone Collector Is amazing, clever, fresh and SCARY! Why people want to attack this grate movie, Well, ... What Ever. This movie is based on Jeffery Deaver's novel. What a pleasant surprise that it was incredibly close to the book. The bone collector is just a grand novel and a top movie. T.B.C. is better then Seven, which was very good, but not as great as to all the hype it gets. This is a movie that thriller fans need to see. (Not the, Duh what do I rent tonight because I haven't a life nor a thought deeper then,Blah, Blah,BLAH). It makes you think and search and gives the performance you expect.

Jennifer 8 (1992)
UNDER-RATED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
9 November 2004
I cannot and will not for the life of me comprehend why people do not like provoking and complex movies, (ya know, WHERE YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO THINK).

Jennifer 8, is a great movie, it is daring, smart, witty, scary and....

a bit on the real side. There are a lot of movies which people that due to reading their reviews should not watch movies that are beyond their simple mind and well, IQ. This movie is well on the top of the list for under rated serial killer flicks. Rent, Buy, Borrow but must see this excellent movie.

Twisted (I) (2004)
Good
9 November 2004
This movie was unexpectedly good. Being aware that A. Judd's movies where she is in a starring role have not been that great. Twisted was a pleasant surprise. Regardless of what others may say, This is worth renting and is a good thriller. I rented this movie along with taking lives ( which was not worth the $4.99 rental fee) so I was pleased to have had twisted to watch.

A. Judd is better when she has more leading stars to perform with. High Crime is another good movie she semi stars in, Suggest rent that one also. Good movie, and not so predictable.

HATED IT !!!!!!!!!!
9 November 2004
All there is to say about this Poor, Poor mini series is Don't waste your time. It is beyond trash, all reels should be destroyed. Yes, It was that awful! I was so excited to see it after I had read the book. Which is a great court room drama. The book so amazing, which is usually the case. Yet, This mini series, WOW, It really was pathetic, the every thing that should not be allowed for viewers, (in case they have a sensitive tummy).

No *'s

Acting, Well there was not any.

Worse then the Worst Soap.

READ the book, it is Excellent!!!!!! ! !

Two Mothers for Zachary (1996 TV Movie)
An actual case of justice
4 November 2004
Warning: Spoilers
We see very few cases where justice actually prevails. This movie based on a true story show consequences for thoughtless actions. Spoiler. In this movie the mother chooses her wants and needs over her child. Children are our responsibility and it is us whom should always protect them. There is NO WAY, a child living in any dysfunctional family will not be effected by it mentally and emotionally. I did not care for the circumstances in which the daughter had been raised in,yet, she should have been more adamant about wanting her son to grow up with stability and safety. Which, there would been none if left to her selfish wants, the child as many today, would have been teased and ridiculed, not to mention confused. People should think before they procreate, children are not samples to be tested, nor a middle to use as a tool for fighting.

The Accused (1988)
No Male Bashing Took Place in this movie
3 November 2004
I was appalled by one reviewers comments on this movie, stating that a rape victim "got what she deserved". NO one, Woman or man, deserves to be raped, violated or harmed just because they were at the wrong place.

This movie is based on a true story, and the actors were very moving. People make mistakes, someone could be that upset and choose to behave in a manner not appropriate, yet when that Person chooses to stop and say NO, then No is it. No, Stop, Don't, these words do not mean, well, I ask for it. Anyone who thinks otherwise, I feel sorry for because they are sad, lonely and deprived of self worth.

Jodi Foster Is a great actress and puts all her strength in her roles. She is very talented and she and Kelly M. made this movie. Hopefully the person that had to endure this horrid act, is going on, with strength and success.
