The Walking Dead (2010)
Give me my 12 years and at least 177 hours back
I have just watched the last episode of the series. First of all, I would like to say that this was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Especially in the last 5 seasons, the acting, the dialogues and the endless drama tone have become more and more ridiculous, more dragged and frustrating. I felt sick from seeing tearful faces, trying to follow plots that got nowhere, and watching cheap scenes that were obviously shot in the studio. At the end it was a real torture watching this. Until the end, I always hoped that there would be a meaningful resolution for the big picture and the story, but after stealing our time, the series left us with ridiculous forced messages without answering any of our questions. This series is really an insult to the mind of the audience. I will never ever watch such a dragged show like this. No way.
Ar Condicionado (2020)
Just ridiculous!!!!
I have never seen such a ridiculous movie before in my life. In fact, even calling it a movie would be an insult to real cinema. All other details, including the script, were ignored due to the concern of too much cinematography. The "leading role" could have been played by anyone. He does neither contributs to the story nor to the movie. But he is gawking constantly. I really do not understand the logic behind such "movies". No message, no single take away. Just one non-sense after another. I am sure Africa is rich of so many really interesting stories. But, is this you can offer the best out of it? Like really? Waste of time. Just stay away.
Mia aioniotita kai mia mera (1998)
Absolutely overrated
After reading all the positive reviews here, I ask myself if we watched the same cut of the movie. Boring as hell, no storyline at all, looooooooong shots, empty dialogues. Waste of time!
Bad ma ra khahad bord (1999)
Waste of time
I am actually a fan of Iranian cinema but this one was the worst Iranian movie I ever watched. Relying on the originality of the scenary (a Kurdish village which can be found anywhere in the Middle East) for Western eyes the movie just has a weak screenplay. The annoying "engineer" jumping around in the village which his annoying way of talking to people and his never ending questions. The overall setting of this movie drove me just crazy while watching!!
Little Women (2019)
A big disappointment
Unfortunately, the movie is a huge disappointment. A very superficial narrative and characters without depth. Two wasted hours. I really do not understand people rating this movie with higher than five points. It is sooooo empty.
Nisser (2021)
Bad bad and even worse
And the oscar goes to the "Elves" for the worst movie I have ever watched in Netflix. Bad acting, so many logical holes in the story and of course so many cliches. An absolute waste of time. I always wounder, is there no single person in the filing crew telling the director how absurd the whole film is getting. The little girl destroys eveything causing several people to die and the all caring stupid mother tells her: "Oh darling no you are not responsible for this mess" and then in the final scene they leave the island as a whole similingly in peace. Come on!!!!!
Kin (2021)
Save your time and don't watch it.
The worst Turkish movie I watched in recent years. Bad acting even worse plot, cliches cliches cliches. Hands off!! I do not understand how on earth a decent Turkish actor like Yilmaz Erdogan can end up in such a shame.
Grégory (2019)
True crime aspect once again neglected...
Once again Netflix promised a true crime story and ended up showing us mostly the memories of a particular french reporter on the case and the miserable approach of the media in 1980ies. So many questions left unanswered. No focus on the details of the murder and its investigation at all. 6 points only because of the craziness of the story itself and definetly not because of the way how Netflix failed to cover it.
9 Kere Leyla (2020)
Sick and tired of this non-sense...
Awfull screen play, horrible acting, waste of time...a cheap try of "Jean-Pierre Jeunet" movies...a bloody nightmare...+ it is time for Demet Akbag to have some rest. She is like in every Turkish movie in recent years with similar characters...
Carmel: ¿Quién mató a María Marta? (2020)
Highly interesting case but...
The case is highly interesting and have several twists but unfortunately the narrative of the documentary is so poor. Even the simplest questions are left unanswered. E.g. Maria Marta was shot five times in the head and she was living in a high security compound. Did nobody hear the shots? No neighbours? No security guards? How it is possible? Such a waste of case due to the poor nature of the documentary.
Marcella (2016)
Why why why Season 3???
For the sake of the first two seasons I have just finished the 3th season which was a huge disappointment. In season three, no mystery & no criminal story line at all. Way too much of flashbacks, way too much of trivial killings and too much psychological struggle of Keira which turned to be extremly boring and depressive. So many of aspects of who? why? left unanswered with a just absurd end. Save your time and don't watch season 3.
Cidade de Deus (2002)
A big disappointment
I do not really understand all those "10 points" here. I only watched the first hour of the movie and to be honest the last 20 min of it was battle with myself in terms of patience. Poor narrative, trivially no-sense violence,
superficial handling of characters (children killing around), sorry but no story at all!! As I am also from a developing country I am pretty much aware of all those sad stories in ghettos, however this one could have been told in such a dramatic way which the movie did not. And it is dramatic; there is nothing "fun" about it.
A Hidden Life (2019)
Is this a joke?
The most boring movie I have ever seen. It is almost like silent cinema. There are so many way better examples of telling such tragic stories out there. Such a shame...
Masum (2017)
Good acting but that is all...
Haluk Bilginer & Nur Sürer do their part almost perfect but all in all this mini series once again suffers from weak even sometimes ridiculous script which is soooooo common in turkish productions lately. Events & dialogues are far away being "real". You cannot really get into it.
The Cuba Libre Story (2015)
A one sided narrative...
Unfortunately it is far away being objective...Poor one sided American narrative based on mostly exile Cuban accounts: The revolution in Cuba is almost a coincedence, Castro brothers are bloody dictators, USA "only" tried to protect their financial interest, the bad Soviet guys did not wait for a sec to cooperatw with evil Cuba. A waste of time unless you are interested in propoganda movies.
Dolor y gloria (2019)
A colorful pain...
This time, Almodovar pictures the unavoidable dilemma in almost every gay man's life. "Glory" of falling in love with the handsome and "pain" of hiding from the most precious one, the beloved mom.
Oprah Winfrey Presents: After Neverland (2019)
Undeniable
First of all please bother yourself to watch the 4 hours documentary before judging those two victims of abuse and then you may ask yourself if MJ wasn't a homosexuell child abuser why on earth there was no single girl (child) he was close to (like taking to the tour with himself and practically to anywhere he goes for a certain period of time untill changing to a new one)? And isn't it little bit to much coincedence that only boys have claims? + how you can call it normal an adult man sleeping only with children together? Of course no need to count, all th abnormal stuff in his life: like turning from a man to almost an intersexuell person, his second marriage to an average woman with nothing special at all? Hiding his own children in a very weird way? (Almost threw one of them out of the window in Berlin) so come on? Wake up, you will find all the evidence there (Btw Latoya J. have also some interviews in which she is telling the truth about her brother)
