The funny thing about this movie is that it's stacked. John Candy, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, and Demi Moore. The quality of this film is below average;although, this film is more for entertainment. It's not a Academy Award film, but more of a Saturday Night film you get at blockbuster for a couple of cheap laughs. I believe in giving credit where credit is due, this film is much deeper than meets the eye.This is a film where you don't need to be a film critic, you just sit back and enjoy it. The entertainment value is higher than the quality as you see in most movies, such as Vegas Vacation, UHF, Baby Genisus, and Jigle all the Way. I gave this movie a 6/10 for every memorable scene.

Empire of the Sun is about a wealthy British boy living in British controlled states of China during WW2. He is torn from his parents and placed in a camp for British citizens. He tries to find a way to connect the good of his old life to the good life in the camp and a life filled with war, but finds that no matter what there is no good out of war. This is an amazingly underrated film that should be watched by a mature, attentive person. This film is laced with compassion and power put in one. A must see for war buffs (or for Spielberg buffs). No matter what even if you hate this film, you will have a favorite part. One of Spielberg greatest films ever made (personally his greatest). 10/10

This show is a show made out of paper. The basic outline is a loyal civilian, Tom Peters, has great ideas to help the city; however, whenever he presents the idea, the mayor makes it take a turn for the worst.The new episodes appear on the 10:30 adult swim slot, and I haven't missed one since the show started. Celebrities constantly have a guest appearance. I will admit though that a lot of people may not get the show's humor. The mayor and Tom make a unforgettable duo that will not be forgotten in years to come. The writer's for this show have a different set of mind frame that you won't want to miss. All in all this is a great, funny show that you will have to see for yourself at sometime.

I saw a clip of this and knew from the start that this was different from the same old Mickey Christmas movies that they come out with every year knowing it will sell. This one is an exception, the animation is flawless (literally), the colors are magnificent, and the stories are solid. The special features are a for little kids, but the movie is for all ages. You would think this is a cliché, wimpy Mickey Mouse movie (quite the contrary);however, if you're looking for a landslide from boring Disney movies I would recommend this this. This is also has a hint of sarcasm in this movie which is extremely rare for a animated Disney movie. Comedy is one of the many reasons you should see this movie.

This movie was terrible (thats how I'll start), the director and writer thought that he would catch some gullible person that thinks that the more action and graphics there are the better the movie is. I wasn't one of those gullible people. The movie has more plot holes than the Yankees have world series victories. They didn't want to have to bring in the background of any character but the daredevil so you don't understand why any of these people are like they are. They just pointed their fingers and said he's the bad guy right there. The only thinks that kept people from throwing up afterwards is the tiny bit of symbolism. Don't rent this movie unless its for free trust me.

COME ON!!!!!! How do you get confused just because frosty is now a puppet, big deal. This is just like the people who need the godfathers to be played in order. The singing in this movie is plentiful, original, but gets annoying. The story line is very different and extravagant (as all Rankin Bass films are). The film is very rare and is a small treat to watch because you'll most likely never find someone who's seen it. It was kind of cheap how they tried to make a bang of the success of the original character's movies and tie them together, but if people didn't do that we wouldn't have any James Bond Films. All in all you should at least give it a look especially if you have kids that you can watch it with.

Before I start to say anything about this movie I would like to put out there that this is a excellent movie. People are mislead by the review saying its the best movie of all time. Now this is a great movie (It would most likely be on the top 100 best movies of all time) but this movie is the no.1 movie because it is considered a revolutionary film. Back then things they did in that movie were unheard of. For ex. the director (Orson Wells) being so young and showing the ceiling in most scenes (little things). When you have a good quality film and you mix in something unheard of, you can only profit from it. All in all this movie deserves about an 8.5 to a 9, a definite must-see blockbuster.

This film is just as good as any other Christmas film. This is a heart warming film that you can stand to watch a hundred times. One of the most rare underrated Rankin Bass films you will ever see. This portrays the story better than any other film ever!!!! When you watch this film you will feel better ;although, you can't put your finger on what you feel better about, you'll feel better. It's one of those films you'll see every once in a while that when you start to watch it you wait until its over much like "A Christmas Story". If you get your hands on this video you'll be glad you did you won't even want to return it. If it is a DVD format go and buy it, even though its kind of a kiddy movie, you'll love to watch it.

This movie was excellent, very original and thought out. This movie another Rankin Bass classic (In my mind) is for once a dark Rankin Bass film! It's a holiday from the sweet happy go lucky film. It show how the man we all love (Santa) struggle to begin his career and later on becomes immortal. This show the side of Santa's life that we never see. Far from stereotypical I gave this movie a 9 rating. Although this is not very popular as say Rudolph, Frosty, The Year Without a Santa Claus, that doesn't mean it's any worse. If they made this movie on to a DVD format I would encourage anyone to go out and buy it. I'm sure you'll agree with me once you watch this wonderful masterpiece stop animation.

I gave You're in the Super Bowl, Charlie Brown a seven. This movie was a pretty good movie because it was an escape from cliché Charlie Brown movies, I personally thought that it was not a classic but at least original. The plot gave what it promised, and didn't exactly draw things out very long as other movies did. It's a normal family movie and you cant complain about that. Not an excellent classic but you should at least give it a look. This wasn't the best Charlie Brown movie of course but you can enjoy it without having to analyze it or describe it, you just pop it in and watch. It's good for a rainy dark day when you have nothing to do. So overall this movie would be about a seven.
