The Merge (2022)
The Merge: Navigating The Defense Frontier With a Wink And a Smile
The Merge is the podcast you didn't know you needed until now.
Remember those long-winded briefings about the latest developments in defense tech? The ones where you'd wish someone would just cut to the chase, throw in a few jokes and make the whole thing more human? Well, The Merge is exactly that. It's a refreshingly approachable guide to the ins and outs of the defense industry, with the perfect blend of insights, salt, and wit.
Each episode feels like a conversation with old colleagues, talking shop over a round of beers. The host has a knack for making complex topics digestible, and even entertaining.
The charm of The Merge is in its blend of the serious and the light-hearted. It's a podcast that acknowledges the gravity of the defense world while not taking itself too seriously. It's a brilliant way to stay connected with the industry I've dedicated my life to, without feeling like I'm still on the clock. So here's to The Merge, the best podcast for old defense hounds like me to keep their paws in the game. Five out of five stars, would definitely listen again.
Very Scary People (2019)
Very well done series
Great selector stories plus excellent production values. This is a very enjoyable series. Donny Wahlberg's role is limited to brief introduction and conclusion, but he does a credible job.
Mercy (2016)
Terrible
Poorly written, poorly directed, poorly acted. Save your time and watch anything else.
Meeting Evil (2012)
Seriously bad
Plot is unbelievable to the point of being incomprehensible.Samuel L. Jackson's acting was phone in at best. Luke Wilson appears to be sleep deprived or stoned during much of the movie. Don't waste your time.
