Murdered Online (2014)
Sad but nothing to it
It's 30 minutes of how a girl responded to the wrong gumtree add. No conviction, no idea of who did it, nothing. Weird how this was made into a show. Condolences to the family.
The Most Dangerous Animal of All (2020)
Like father like son?
I put this on while I was doing other things.
Good background listen.
Quite hard to listen to as this man is clearly very excited about the possibility of his biological father being a serial killer. He also spends a huge amount of time feeling sorry for himself and being awful to his poor biological mother who was a child when she had him. In this documentary you will mostly hear about how terrible this middle aged, middle class mans life is but very little about the actual victims and slating his poor mother who was a victim herself.
If you just want a new insight as to who the zodiac killer may have been then its interesting, you just have to block out the wah wah's from the son who from this documentary comes across as a bit of a narcissist himself.
Bad Teacher (2011)
Shame
Shane they cast Justin T. Gross sleeze in life and on screen.
Amanda Knox (2016)
Mostly in Italian
I like to watch docs as background sound but this is half English half Italian with no option for dub so pretty pointless as you have to pay attention to the screen. The doc is not good enough to have it as your full attention. Very one sided also. Crappy.
Our House (2018)
Info horror with a plot and good ending
Original horrors are hard to come by.
This had a plot, you get the know the characters, some sad parts, jumpy parts, good acting, a bit of a plot twist, the occasional shouting at the characters (at least I did), and a good ending which is something rare these days.
I hate being disappointed when watching a film but this was good.
Buckout Road (2017)
Terrible ending
Average horror with a terrible ending. Not worth it.
Malevolent (2018)
Finally a good horror
This is my first imdb review. Horror movies are usually always disappointing. Some have really bad, cringe worthy ghost or demons, and they almost always have a bad ending or terrible plots. This film had a good story, the ghouls were actually believable, it was scary when it needed to be, jumpy, a good old fashioned plot twist, some good characters and some not to shabby acting. Horrors disappoint the hell out of me to the point where I'm over watching them now but this was good. I actually enjoyed this! 👍
