Who cares? And who can tell the difference between an authentic Georgia accent and a Texas or South Carolina accent? Us Yankees and Westerners don't care! And it is completely unimportant to the story.

The horse barn scene was classic.
And for my money, the final episode with Diane Lane made it all worthwhile. A book could not capture the intensity and beauty of that scene.
