Unfrosted (2024)
Good Family Movie - Amazing Ensemble Cast - Fun
Good family movies are hard to find nowadays. It's a movie you can watch with your older kids and the whole family will enjoy. Some parts are over the top, especially the pop tart test. The ensemble cast. We recognized every actor and actress and they were all good. Very goofy fun. I'm not sure why these reviews require so many characters. I said what I needed to say and I cannot say anymore. The filmography was good, directing was good. We'll that's all I have to say. Amy Schumer is good. Idk why people don't like her. She's pretty good. Jim Gafigan was good. Seinfeld was okay. Melissa McCarthy was as awesome as she usually is. Good movie.
Family Guy: Partial Terms of Endearment (2010)
Hard to understand why this was banned
This was just a regular old Family Guy episode. There are so many other episodes that have way more offensive things than them. I really don't understand why it was banned. There were some really good jokes, and it was overall a pretty solid episode.
I about the DVD online cuz I wanted to see it, and if you're a huge Family Guy fan it's worth seeing. But I just cannot figure out for the life of me why it was banned. Pretty frustrating if you ask me. Anyway. I highly recommend watching the episode if you're able to access it somehow. And if any TV executive is reading this, what the heck? 4.5/5 stars.
That '90s Show (2023)
Great show! Don't listen to neg reviews!
Watch for yourself. It's actually pretty fun. With all the hate, I was expecting it to be terrible, but it's not. It's pretty great. The first episode is kind of blah because it's setting up the show, maybe that's what all the haters from, just the people who only watch the first episode. But it actually got really good with the second episode and beyond. Yeah the kids are kind of like Disney show kids, but obviously they had to go kind of young so that the show could go on for five or six seasons. I don't know I don't like a lot of things, I'm very crabby, I think a lot of stuff sucks, I'm actually a lot like Red, but this is actually pretty good.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Charlie's Home Alone (2018)
I skip this one
This episode is unwatchable. I cannot watch it. Always sunny is my favorite show ever but the only 2 episodes I skip are season 13. This and the gang escapes.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Escapes (2018)
Only episode I skip
I skip this episode. It's terrible. Season 13 is the worst season. Well I skip Charlie's home alone too, also in this season. Can't watch either of these episodes. It's weird because season 12 is great but season 13 is terrible. What changed?
Us (2019)
Meh also that's not how boats work
Whoever wrote this movie has literally no clue how boats work. It made for a very awkward and comical situation to watch the boat scenes. Also, I don't get it.
The Conners: Preemies, Weed and Infidelity (2019)
Season 2 is amazing
Season 1 was finding itself like most first seasons of shows do. Season 2 is great. The writing is fantastic. The humor is on point. The heart is there just like it was with Roseanne in its prime.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Beats Boggs: Ladies Reboot (2018)
Why all the hate? It's a great episode
I hope it's not sexisim. It's probably sexisim. But it's a great episode. Not one of the best, but still high quality Sunny.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again (2016)
It was a good tribute to the original
Idk why everyone is saying it sucked. It was good. Not meant to be a replacement of the original but a tribute to.
A.P. Bio (2018)
Started off slowly
Series started off slowly but it got so much better. Getting more and more hilarious.
Damien (2016)
A sequel to a film that already has sequels?
First, they cast a guy who looks nothing like. Damien.
Second, and this is HUGE, they're making a TV sequel to a film that has 2 sequels already. I'm a huge fan of the original films and this is a slap in the face to them. It's like making a sequel of star wars while completely ignoring every other sequel and prequel.
The Cool Kids (2018)
Wanted to like so badly but the writing is terrible
I love Charlie Day so much. I wanted to love this show just as much. The little gay man is funny and adorable. The rest of the cast could be good. The writing is just bad. So bad. It's just not funny except then little gay old man, but even he's not given funny lines, he just makes it funny. I also love Vicki Lawrence. Please, better writing. I want to love this show.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Makes Paddy's Great Again (2018)
Absolutely brilliant! If you didn't like the episode, you fail to understand its brilliance.
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! I was watching the episode and was like wtf is this garbage? The writing and dialogue was all off and was not nearly at the caliber of Sunny. Then, I saw that it had 8.7 stars on IMDB, which is pretty good, so I was really scratching my head. Then, BAM!!! BRILLIANT!!! It all came together in the absolutely meta fashion similar to episodes like "the gang tries desperately to win an award" and "old lady house." Popular sitcoms overstay their welcome and when one major cast member leaves, they just replace them. The writing gets stale and contrived, the dialogue gets awkward. Wtf was that crap with a plan to distract security guards with a tuba and change wine labels? No, not Sunny! Sunny, you trolled me big time!!! Sunny hasn't even BEGUN TO PEAK!
I thought of something else: In the episode "the gang tries desperately to win an award" they have a guest actor from The Office. This episode: guest star from: The Office. What show went to poop after losing a main character and replacing them?
Btw anyone who thinks otherwise just doesn't get it. SAVAGE IDIOTS! Only brilliance can recognize brilliance!
Flatliners (2017)
Holy bad acting batman! Horrible remake.
Could have been a good remake. TERRIBLE ACTING! Except Ellen Page. She was good. The girl playing Sophia was especially horrible. The writing was also really stupid, so I guess the actors didn't have much to work with. This could ha r been an awesome remake but they failed at it.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Turns Black (2017)
Excellent episode. Absolutely brilliant! Why so hated?
Yes, it's different than most IASIP episodes and doesn't have as many sharp LOL moments that we're used to from Sunny, but it's still entertaining, hilarious, and brilliant. The music is spectacular. The acting is spot on. The story is an excellent social commentary on some aspects of what it's like to be black in America, i.e. when Dennis comments how it's hard to tell when you're being discriminated against, or "I guess we just found out a new rule." Then, in keeping with the theme of Always Sunny, the gang doesn't actually learn any of these lessons, but maybe we do? A little?
I'm seeing a lot of hate for this episode. It seems the hate is more from people simply not enjoying the musical aspect and not liking how it's a bit different than most other IASIP episodes. However, I haven't seen a lot of people who hate because they think it's racist, probably because it's really not IMHO.
On the other hand, the episode gets a lot of love. So, I guess it's a love it or hate it kind of episode. I loved it.
I Feel Pretty (2018)
Why all the hate!?!?
This movie was so good. There were no stupid or awkward parts. It kept me entertained the whole time. It had some very funny parts. It had a great message. Amy Schumer was super good in the movie. Why all the hate? I've seen a lot of bad movies in my life, but this was not one of them. I bet you that half of the people giving bad reviews didn't even see the movie.
The Cell (2000)
Most amazing, greatest terrible movie I've ever seen
The Cell is the best, worst movie I've ever seen. The things it does well, it does REALLY WELL, and the things that it does badly, it does REALLY BADLY. It's sad because it could have been a masterpiece.
What was great: the cinematography, the imagery, the acting (absolutely phenomenonal), and the overall plot (which was ruined by the awful writing).
What was terrible: the script, the writing, and the way the plot is haphazardly and unnaturally constructed. Everything seems so contrived and unnatural. For example, it's way too convenient that the killer has this Seizure thingy and goes into a coma on the same day they come to arrest him, it's way to convenient that somehow the doctor just happens to know off the top of his head of a research laboratory that does inception-like crap and can help them figure out where the girl is being held, it's way too convenient that he has the water sprinklers in the cell set on automatic so that it can fill up without him there, adding to the suspense and time sensitivity of the situation, it's so obvious the connection is made between the killer having a suspension fetish and then when they do their inception-like stuff, they're similarly suspended, it just feels way too forced, and the kid, Edward, had the same type of rare schizophrenia as the killer dude? Come on.
This movie is very disappointing, not because it's bad, but because it could have been one of the most amazing movies of all time right up there with Inception, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Memento, Seven, the Butterfly Effect, Donny Darko, Being John Malkovich, the Fountain, the Jacket, Clockwork Orange, and a few more that I am forgetting, movies that are perched front and center on the shelf of any trippy, psychological thriller, mind-bending movie fan. Instead, this movie goes in the pile of beautiful disappointments, kind of like the brilliant child that always disappoints their parents, not because they're a bus driver making an honest living, but because everyone knows that kid could have been president.
The Simpsons: White Christmas Blues (2013)
Wisconsin accent is all wrong
Gave it a 6 because all Simpsons episodes are at least a 5, but this is one of the worst episodes and it's annoying that FXX keeps reairing it. Also, I'm from Wisconsin and the Wisconsin accent of the couple from Wisconsin who stays with the Simpsons is all wrong. It's more like a Minnesota accent. Just saying. Also the story line with Bart and Lisa is kind of lame. Also, the episode just wasn't that funny. I love the Simpsons and love it as most people do but once in a while there's an episode that's a dud. Not sure why they require 10 lines. That's kind of excessive. So just let me say that this was one of the worst Simpsons episodes. Also they got the Wisconsin accent totally wrong although that's obviously not a big deal just wanted to point it out.
