Really good movie!
25 February 2024
Almost every other writer/star of their own movie picks a younger woman to play his wife but Ray Romano picks one of the very best actors alive on earth, Laurie Metcalf, to play his wife in this really good movie "Somewhere In Queens" playing now on Hulu.

One of those movies were you start to watch it and before you know it it's over and you didn't really want to give it that much of your time because it's just another movie but that goddamn Ray Romano just knows what he's doing, doesn't he!

Suffice to say Ray's performance is very good as is the rest of the cast. But there is nobody like Laurie Metcalf.

This is a good one

Saw two movies this weekend, "Once Upon A a Time in Hollywood" and "Sword of Trust" and Sword was the better of the two.

Outstanding performances all around including and especially Marc Maron and as the not so sure of himself bad guy Dan Bakkedahl who we usually see playing the funny part.

Want to see it again

Best show on TV. Or one of them surely

I hadn't known of Kayvan Novak, playing the head vampire in this show, I dont think. But he is brilliant as is the entire cast, Matt Berry is funny in anything and everything including "The IT Crowd".

This show is funny as hell, I have the CC on to make sure I dont miss a single word as British accents and vampire accents and so on.

MUST SEE!

I love John Cleese of course, and was so excited to watch this. . But it never delivers, not funny. Hoping season 2 is funny. New writers maybe?

Best TV series ever, it is that simple.

I cant even watch ANY other western now because when I do it will NOT have this realistic dialogue, the real way they spoke back then. Add to that amazing stories and acting that is OFF the ledge.

Crazy good in every way and NOT long enough. Cant WAIT for the movie but I wish they had made a season 4 back when the actors were those ages.

This is an especially important show about misogyny and racism, Women will appreciate this show VERY MUCH!

Jim Carrey is a gift that keeps on giving.

I know, cliche, but it is true.

The story is a good one in these troubled times and Jim delivers another great performance.

Thank you for reminding us we do still have some decency in us, and as you said, Trump cant take it from us.

Just when I started to lose interest in sitcoms

Hilarious, very real as to how these type of people really are, as I am familiar.

Leary is fantastic but so is everybody else.

What I would give to write on this show, so so many avenues these characters could go down that would be funny as hell and heartwarming.

The hatred and love the band has for their leader, makes perfect sense in the genre.

Love the daughter, funny and so darn cute. John Corbett is great too. Great job people!

Oh, did I mention it is hilariously funny?
