Outlander: Providence (2019)
Yet another ruined episode
They are wasting so much time with Murtah who died at the end of the first book! Marsali and Fergus lived on Fraser's RIdge and Lizzie stayed with them while Brianna was a Aunt Jucasta's, therefore, Fergus had nothing to do with Stephen Bonnet's escape. In the book, Roger's foot was cut and infected, here his arm is in a sling. There is so much left in the book at this point and they only have one episode left...that should be a real butcher job next week! So disappointing, that they can take these great novels and turn them into this.
Outlander: Common Ground (2018)
I think we need new writers
As with last year, I'm really disappointed with the writers. Hard to believe that they ever read Diana's books. Where is Duncan Innes, who is suppose to marry Aunt Jacusta. No Polyanna last week, and now no bear, just some guy dressed up! I think maybe they need to extend the series? You can't take epic novels such as these and cram them into 13 weeks. I don't want to get into what they've done to Brianna and Roger!
Outlander: Heaven and Earth (2017)
What?
What are they doing to this year? They've taken this great book and are making it their own? Why?
The spoilers are:
1. Jamie was never imprisoned on the Artimis! Therefore, that whole bit with him and Fergus is bogus....pure crap.
2. Claire went by the last name of Malcom on the Porpoise. And, she never was confronted by the cook when she read of Jamies impending arrest in Jamica.
3. Where the heck was Lord John Gray? That was such an important scene to go along the next episode, but no, that aught to be a real treat this week.
How can I not shout when we are forced with this drivel? Last week, they left out the scene with Claire and Marsail making amends...can't wait to see how they butcher that.
4. Also, where is Innis? He was suppose to be with Jamie the whole time this year after his release from Helwater, because he becomes an large part of next year!
I'm fed up with Outlander this year...had high hopes, but they've been dashed!
In the future...I hope they leave Diana's books alone and just follow her story line. The first book was much shorter, and they broke it into 16 episodes. Voyager is a larger book with only 13 episodes? Why?
Outlander: Freedom & Whisky (2017)
Worst episode of Outlander yet
Apparently, the writer of this episode never read the book! Nothing about it is correct, even the bones scene is off. From beginning to end....it's just wrong. Not worth watching if you've read the books. The very last scene stinks and wasn't the way it was suppose to be. I guess it was only good for people who never read it, because they have no idea. I just watched youtube.com and listened to everybody raving about it....are they all that clueless??? How depressing!
Fifty Shades Darker (2017)
Thoroughly enjoyed it!
This might be a spoiler...but I thought the "silver balls" scene was priceless! And for all the haters who said that Dakota Johnson can't act, her facial expressions made the scene.
I do have one little regret. I was really looking forward to seeing Hugh Dancy playing the part of Christian's psych. I know the movie is already 2-1/2 hours long, but if they would have just added the 10 minute segment from the book "Grey" where Flynn put everything in perspective for Christian, it would have made sense of his drastic turnaround. Maybe help out all those grumpy old men who didn't like the movie?
If you liked the books, you'll like the movie...much better than the first! Can't wait for Freed!
In Your Eyes (2014)
Wow
I don't know what the hell those last two folks were smoking when they watched this movie...but they missed probably one of the best love stories that I've ever seen! Obviously, they've never really been in love or haven't found their soul mates yet. The acting is incredible...especially when you add the fact that the two main characters are never in the same film studio. Pure acting at it's best! I also like the fact that the whole world could see this at the same time and not have to wait for it to show up at their local theaters. I pity the people who don't have a computer, because they'll never know the masterpiece that they missed. Maybe someday it will be made into a DVD for them? Does anyone know if it will be?
