Addictive and Brilliantly linked follow-on
6 January 2021
Incredibly, they have brought back all those who played a character in the original films as they are today which adds dimension and credibility to the passage of time. No character has been replaced with a different actor/actress and right down to the little girl Daniel saved on Okinawa during a Typhoon, who was ringing the alarm, returns as a young woman and clever scripting is her prominence to Daniels reason for visiting Okinawa. It's addictive watching as you get so drawn-in and just keep going from episode to episode, you never want it to end.

If you liked the Karate Kud films in the 1980's, this is essential viewing.

Spitting Image (2020–2021)

Nowhere near as good as it was in the 80's.

I used to love Spitting Image in the 80's, but this new version is utter rubbish. I won't be watching any more episodes.

The best TV series to ever appear on British TV
14 July 2019
Thankfully both series 1 & 2 are available on DVD and I have them both. At the time it was first shown on TV it was riveting to watch, very gritty, but it had the sparkle and fizz of the 80's London yuppies. I remember the 80's yuppy traders and ironically worked close to where the Shane-Longman building was in the new Broadgate development in London. They used Lehman's offices. It was next door to Liverpool Street Station. I once saw Douglas Hodge at London Marylebone station helping a blind man to his train. He even wore a Declan style trenchcoat in real life.

When I watch the show now on DVD it looks a little dated, mostly because the production quality was sadly lacking but the acting was first class and it really gave you a glimpse into the World of the 80's yuppies.

It could have had a longer run, but as I understand it, not enough people watched it, which killed it off. My understanding is that they wanted to scrap it after the first series, but they made a second after being inundated with letters of support for a series 2. I don't think the writers were adventurous enough and that added to insufficient viewers for Series 2 sealed its fate.

Deja Vu (2006)

The most emotional roller-coaster and thought provoking ride I have EVER experienced!
8 February 2019
Before I saw this film, my favorite film of all time was without a doubt TOP GUN.

Tony Scott was the best director of our time - FACT. Denzil Washington is without a doubt one of the finest actors of our time and it shows in almost every movie he is in.

I am a guy and I cannot think of another film that has me completely choked up and tears in my eyes which the final scene of this movie does, EVERY TIME I WATCH IT !!!
