Rollercoaster of emotions.
22 January 2023
I have not cried at a movie since ET. This is a fantastic movie and restores faith in the film industry.. It deals with all aspect of life ; birth , death, suicide and most of all love. Tom Hanks as usual is immaculate and Mariana Trevino melts your heart. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Who would think a film about a man trying to kill himself could be such fun. With all the virtue signalling going on in Hollywood this an example how you make a movie without trying to lecture your audience. Just when I thought the movie could not get any better...they have Kate Bush on the soundtrack!!

Old School

This is a film for an audience of a certain age. Superbly acted and a fantastic script. Amazed this film was allowed to made as it's language is very non PC. The film shows the characters warts and all which made it all the more refreshing.

What Rowan does best

Mr Bean meets Johnny English. No idea why they split it into nine episodes as its clearly a movie. Slapstick at its best and some laugh out loud moments in every episode.

Painful to watch

No wonder Netflix is losing subscriptions. I watched this movie on a plane oh how I wished I had a parachute to exit from this absolute pile of dross. Rebel Wilson must be desperate to sign up to this.

Incredible incompetence
4 January 2022
The performance from Stephen Merchant was faultless unlike the Met Police who were gormless. An incredible cast and script which explained the total ineptitude of the Police. This is one of the best dramas I have seen in many a year.

Wooden to the core
8 November 2021
Whoever chose the cast for this drivel obviously knows nothing about acting. Rachel Stirling gave one of the most wooden performances ever. What was the point of the Eddy character apart from ticking the equality box. I exclude Anna Maxwel Martin from the criticism but the rest could not act their way out of a paperbag.

Thank god all cinemas are closed because I would of hated to actually pay for this movie. I assume the actors passed a screen test but God knows how. Poorly acted Poorly directed Pathetic script Nothing good to say about this movie
