The Virginian (1962)
Available on inspiration network tonight.
This is a much underappreciated question. Doesn't get the same press as Bonanza and Gunsmoke but is just as good. When the good guys for good guys and the bad guys were really bad .
Black Mirror: The Entire History of You (2011)
A wasted opportunity
There's nothing in this episode that's new. Finding out what your wife does when you're not around is easy. Private investigator. Her friends. Your friends. People love to talk about affairs.
In the scene where he goes on and on about a condom is ridiculous because one would think in the future, they would at least have DNA testing for paternity. And the ending makes absolutely no sense. Removing the grain would take away the video of past experiences, but he would still have regular memories of it.
And they never did explain why The "greaseball's" Wife removed her chip. Did she have an affair with the main character at some point? Was he being a hypocrite? It's obvious this was edited for time and somebody missed that.
Overall not a very good episode for even a standard sci-fi anthology. Looking forward to the CBS streaming's New Twilight Zone for similar science-fiction episodes
Black Mirror: Fifteen Million Merits (2011)
A very tired concept
I'll keep it short. What you see in this episode is basically socialism where everybody works and is rewarded with very small pieces of the pie but they are content because they don't know any better. Once they can't produce are ostracized by the collective. The only way out is through individual talent... Which would only matter in A capitalistic society.
The acting is very good. The production values are high for a television show. I thoroughly enjoyed it even though it is thinly veiled satire on socialism. ( I much prefer Animal Farm)
Black Mirror: The National Anthem (2011)
Finally... Something completely different from the UK. (Pun intended)
I really haven't seen anything as incredible in the science-fiction realm as these episodes. I write sci-fi short stories for various publications, and now I feel like a failure. I can't come close to the writing in these episodes. I only wish there were more episodes in each season. Cannot recommend enough
Don't Kill It (2016)
Mistakes from minute one.
In the opening scene, the man aims at the deer's head. No one does that. You wait for a flank shot and you hit it in the heart/lung area for a Kil that will be quick and painless . Also, it's illegal to hunt with dogs. And he's not wearing any florescent orange which is required by law in all United States. And he has a choke collar on the dog but you don't use in the field ever. He can stagger on a branch and choke your dog. And those are the mistakes in the first three minutes of the movie. And you can see the pad under the guise camouflage shirt or the dog bites.
If it weren't for Dolph Lundgren, I would probably turn it off. We are both chemical engineers in real life but took different career paths. Him a grade a actor and myself a physician for the U.S. Army.

Peppermint (2018)
She gets worse with every movie
You think after all the years she's been in Hollywood, that she would take a few acting lessons or something. Aweful. I mean, by comparison, she makes Ben Affleck's acting look good
Black Butterfly (2017)
Good movie with typical Hollywood ending
SPOILER ALERT Antonio Banderas was terrific. Others were average at best. This was a great movie because it was so believable until the last 10 minutes. Some Hollywood executive screwed up the movie by asking for a twist ending. And isn't that exactly what Antonio Bandera's character hated his agent, asking him to change his book To make it more appealable to the masses ? So ironic.
