The Mothers-In-Law (1967–1969)
Truly Funny
9 June 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I remember this show when I was a kid and thought it was so funny. Eve Arden and Kaye Ballard were some pair. It was an innocent comedy for an innocent time. I don't care to see the new version of mother in law comedy, as I've read the reviews and who in the world would want to see two women fighting, poisoning, slapping and name calling? I think that's a terrible comeback for Jane Fonda and a very poor choice for Jennifer Lopez. Bring back the reruns of this old show and show them how it's really supposed to be done! Good acting, by a good cast and imagine that, the show ran for two years. I've never seen one rerun of this great show. What a loss to this generation.

Fritz the Cat (1972)

Seen This One

Warning: Spoilers
It's still the most hilarious film I have ever seen...and the dirtiest, just kidding! I'm going to put it on order and see it once again. Iwas a teenager back in 1972 and sorry, but I had an older boyfriend which had it's advantages! I was able to see movies my parents probably would have shunned. Oh well, that's life and over thirty years later we still talk and laugh about Fritz the Cat. Some of my favorite lines, well..Some you don't want to read like ---k a duck, I'm out in the middle of the desert, and the racial depiction of the crow, the funniest when the pigs crash and are left standing with their pants down. Too funny and surely one not to be missed.

Awful is the word
12 May 2005
I saw this movie when I was a kid. I remembered more dramatic scenes of the eruption and tidal wave then seemed to appear in the movie version of the film. It was the beginning of my interest in earth sciences and natural wonders.I was truly disappointed with the film when I finally received it. I'd put the movie on order and waited a year for it, regretfully so. While waiting for the film to arrive, PBS viewed a documentary on Krakatoa that held my interest for hours and became irritated that I'd not received my movie. I tried looking for special scenes that would contain what I felt was missing, but to no avail. Vote 1 because you don't have a zero.

An actor in the family
17 February 2005
I have seen How To Steal A Million many many times. It was a treasured classic in our home growing up as Bert Bertram ( the butler) was a distant relative on my mother's side of the family. Audrey Hepburn was my favorite actress, her beauty equal to her obvious talent and she paired so well with her handsome co-star Peter O'Toole. It is a great movie with a few twists and turns but most of all a good happy ending as all the old timers had one way or another. A true pleasure to watch and for my family a sheer delight every time. The video version has the bigger role for my uncle Bert Bertram than the Movie of the Day version I guess to allow for sponsor time. There's not another way to describe this movie than a great classic, with a great story and a great cast.
