Nudisten (2010)
Decent
Nudist is a short film about a woman who, after a recent break up, decides to be naked all the time. The actual prime reason is never actually given in the film, but it seems like she felt like her ex boyfriend fell out of love with her because of her actual self or something. This is a slice of life situation exhibiting a couple of things nudists have to deal with in society like being able to be in their preferred state of dress as much as possible and finding people who are willing to accept you regardless of lifestyle choices, but for the most part the short film doesn't seem to have a purpose. The woman doesn't appear fully nude front and center in the frame throughout the run time, so it can't be exploitative. The woman has a friend, another woman (who chooses not to undress upon entering the home, establishing that she isn't a nudist), visit for tea and cinnamon rolls, but most of her visit is spent complaining that they can't go out like they used to cause the main girl just wants to be naked everywhere and has been fined six times because of it. The main girl does go out one night, only to evidently regret the decision massively based on her being the only "good looking young" person there. If anything, this exposes her as a faux nudist, as anyone who is actually a nudist wouldn't care if anyone was traditionally attractive. She gets home and goes right to bed, canceling this apparent documentary.
The Last of Us: Long, Long Time (2023)
Was strong, powerful, yet not action packed
This episode provided more depth to the relationship between Bill and frank depicted in the original 2013 video game. It does deviate a considerable degree from said video game, but it still provides something that I was very much asking for 10 years ago from the game. It is a weaker episode because of the lack of action throughout, but it is still very much by no means a boring episode.
Here is my spoiler related thoughts:
The thing I was kind of looking forward to was seeing Bill and ellie hate each other in live action, but oh well. At least Bill and frank died happily in each other's arms.
