Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
I am being really, really magnanimous with my vote.
Truth is, the whole season sucked. It was so rushed, it left so many answers, even about the main villain, the Night King. The battle shouldn't have been just one episode, this should have been an epic battle, with secondary subplots, and even some of the heroes should have died there. Bran should have a role to play, not just sit there and warg, he did nothing heroic to get the throne in the end. Sansa was also hiding in the crypts, so again nothing heroic for her to make us like her, when in the ending she demanded her own throne in Winterfell and leaving her brother King of the six kingdoms!
Jaime and Brienne lovestory was useless to the plot. Jaime and Cersei killed by bricks in the arms of one another, as if we're watching a cheesy soap opera.
Daenerys killing and burning all people when she could have just gone straight to the castle and kill Cersei? Yep. Pure genius writing. Perhaps they could persuade us about the change that happened in Daenerys mind, but when everything is so rushed, there is no time for it!
Jon the most loyal of all, betrays the love of his life, when all his lines this season was constantly repeating that she's his queen! So he stabs Daenerys and she dies. Cheesy. Dragon didn't hurt Jon, but he melts the throne instead? Then he disappears.
Next, Jon is a prisoner and he is exiled to Night watch again. But wait, Bran is the King and he could have pardoned him for killing the mad queen? But no, Jon has to go there, and there is no reason the wall still exists when there is no threat now that the Night king is defeated.
Oh, and the prisoner Tyrion talks everyone into voting for Bran as King with no obvious reason? And Jon's heritage is forgotten by everyone?
Anyway, this season has completely ruined the show that was one of the best ever written. The ending was completely ridiculous.
Dear writers, DO NOT RUIN STAR WARS. Please hand in your resignations...
Srpski film (2010)
This is not art, it's just a sick movie!
This movie is really disturbing, cruel, and depressing, but it gets beyond the levels of triggering the viewer's stimulation, it is just absolutely disgusting and offending. I can't understand the reason why would anyone direct, produce and star in a movie like this one. There are so many sick scenes, really shocking and painful to watch, just mentioning some of them: sexually violating a newborn baby after delivering it, having sex with a woman and chopping her head off and still having sex with her after she's dead, the actor raping his own son... Simply sick, offending, and shocking. I cant't find absolutely nothing to justify a movie like this. I can't recommend it for anyone to watch.
Mother! (2017)
Not Aronofsky's best work
First of all I have to say that I am a thriller/horror movie fan, so I went to watch this movie just because it was listed as a horror/mystery movie, and without knowing anything about the plot, besides the title and the cast. Judging by the superb cast I really had high expectations. I realized quite soon during the first part of the movie that there was an allegorical meaning, so I didn't expect everything that was going on to be completely explained.
What I got while watching the movie, was that Bardem was a poet that strived for inspiration and longed for recognition from his work, and when he achieved this, he became even more obsessed with it, leading ultimately to the complete destruction of his personal life , because of letting fans mess with his family and privacy. It all started when a fan went to meet him in person, then his wife came over uninvited and she started messing with personal affairs of the poet's family and snooping around, and their kids came over later on. The poet kept a room all to himself, with a precious stone inside, but when he let others get in the room and mess with the stone, they caused damage to it, and things started to get completely wrong. He didn't respect his wife and her needs, he didn't care about her, he enjoyed more the attention he got from his fans, and even when she was pregnant, he becomes more successful and famous, so we realize that having a baby with his wife didn't make him feel complete. So, when he becomes more famous his fans go crazy about him. Instead of keeping his privacy and protecting his family, he doesn't want to make them leave, feeding his ego and arrogance, he let more and more people in, so all hell broke loose. Fans and excessive publicity of his personal life destroyed his house literally, his wife was nearly crazy, even his newborn son was actually devoured from his fans. He sacrificed everything because the poet enjoyed being in the private eye. His wife gave him everything, but the house was eventually destroyed, his wife was also killed, meaning that the famous poet's personal life is destroyed, so he has to start all over again. We get now that love is what's left from his wife (precious stone), so he keeps this memory in a safe place to keep him going and start all over again, this time trying to set a new home from the beginning with another wife.
Well, that was Mother! movie for me. When I read that bullsh*t interpretations about mother Earth, the environment, Adam, Eve, I was really shocked because it didn't make any sense this way, biblical stories never crossed my mind while watching a movie that had a clear meaning for me, and I really find it frustrating when secret meanings are so deeply buried that the movie fails to explain itself, seeming rather superficial. The second part was very far-fetched and tiring to watch. The only thing that made it worth watching was the performances of the main actors. But after all, it feels like a waste of time to watch a movie that pretends and claims to be more than it really is.
Annabelle: Creation (2017)
Better that the first movie!
It was actually a pleasant surprise to watch a better movie than the first one. I wasn't expecting much but it was actually a lot better, scarier, made more sense, and the story line was much more interesting! I really liked the way the two Annabelle movies were linked. So I won't say anything more, just watch it if you are a horror movie fan.
Charlie Charlie (2016)
Avoid for your own sake!!!
6.4 IMDb? Really..!?? I am a true horror genre fan, but this was absolutely unwatchable, terrible acting, I tried to watch it for 10 minutes, then I realised it was getting even worse, so I started to fast-forward it just to see if there is something interesting about it. Believe me, there's not! Keep away and don't waste your time...
