Seen it on Prime, not a bad horror film. Good acting and the storyline had plenty of twists and turns. This is at least a 7.. entertaining enough to watch to the end.

A Dark Foe
(2020)
Finally a good Neo-Noir Film
5 August 2021
I've honestly been disappointed so far this year... there hasn't been too many neo-noir films that have had both the aesthetics and the storyline done right but this one is a winner. A Dark Foe is a dramatic film about a guilt ridden FBI agent who chases down a serial killer who had abducted his sister. All makes up for a great plot already! On top of that he suffers from a rare condition known as Nyctophobia. I honestly thought that was a made up condition but clearly it's the real deal and people actually do suffer from this condition. Anyway the film didn't drag out and the story has so many layers I was literally yelling at the screen and cheering on Tony Cruz to get the serial killer.

Watch on Prime

This is another great film I've seen of late that I would never have heard of, if it wasn't for Amazon Prime recommending films like this to me. Long story short, the film is a great thriller movie and the actresses who plays the therapist was my favorite - she was convincing and really played into her character. A gem of a film if your into this psychological, thriller genre. This is easily a 8 or a 9.

Low Budget with Style
7 February 2021
I read poor reviews here and disagree. For a low budget film I thought it had style beyond many horror films I have watched. The black and white 50's scenes were believable in that Hollywood era.
I was happy to see gorgeous Brooke Lewis Bellas in a role like that as I think she has some real acting chops that we do not get to see enough in these horror films. I saw Thomas J. Churchill directed this but I did not know he acted too and he did a really cool character. With all the crap horror films streaming right now I really liked this one.

Good but could be better

Solid script and acting but the film dragged in certain parts. Don't get me wrong I was entertained and watched it to the end but it felt a little rushed and if they spent some more time editing and polishing it up it would have been way better.
Mosul
(II) (2019)
Great documentary
3 November 2020
Mosul is an authentic and accurate movie for anyone who has served in the military, or is interested in Middle East. This film does a great job of capturing real events, not fiction, and helping the audience process and understand what is happening in Iraq and the region. Must see./Great film! Mosul takes a groundbreaking approach; thrilling for any audience.
Chronicle of a Serial Killer
(2020)
Thriller
13 October 2020
Just in time for halloween. A really good indie movie with a suspenseful plot. A serial killer who has a thing for killing women he meets on the internet continues to crush the city as the police go on a wild chase to end his killing spree. Lots of plot twists and turns with a pretty epic ending.

Loved It

I would recommend the book over the film. Joseph's the new human rights movement. At least from the standpoint of tangible information. His outrageous interpretation of his own book in this crazy fantasy multi time frame thing is both exciting and bizarre. Still love it!
Lost Angelas
(2019)
Impressive film
6 October 2020
A really well done indie film. Great acting, quality production and the script is a winner. Loved the role Korrina Rico played, she is super talented and really shined in this one. Support this indie film and watch Los Angelas.

Just watch it and ignore the bad reviews

It's amazing how some people on here can be so critical. I didn't think it was bad at all. I actually found it really entertaining and the storyline will have you on the edge of your seat to the very end. Henk Pretorius did a great job making this. It's a watch from me!

This is one of those films you watch on the weekend with family and friends. Entertaining for sure! Yes the storyline could have been better but it does have good entertainment value.. watched it to the very end. I'll give it a 7.

Loved It!

Are we all watching the same film? It's a great flick! Not to sure why people are so harsh towards this film but yes it did start-off a little slow but it really was entertaining and the acting is excellent. I'd highly recommend watching this, plenty of emotions, comedy and drama as you would expect and for sure it's easily a 8 stars from me.
Body of Night
(2020)
Wild wild wild
31 July 2020
It wasn't all bad... I like the plot - a woman does online dating, meets a man and well yeah things get wild from there. It had it's moments but the director could have done better. This is at least a 6 though and as a filmmaker myself i completely understand sometimes budget and time constraints do play a major part in budgets films like this. 6 from me.
The Hollow
(2016)
A solid film

This is a film worth watching. A well put together suspenseful thriller with an amazing cast! It's great to see Miles Doleac, William Forsythe and Battlestar Galactica's very own James Callis all in the same film - a total package! A must watch and 10 stars from me.

Wasn't sure what to expect but this was dope! Good acting and quality production. One of the best short films I've seen this year. Could make something bigger out of this - I'm thinking mabye a feature length continuation perhaps.
