Green Book (2018)
Faith in humanity has entered chat
I've been wanting to watch this movie for some time now. I'm glad I didn't miss out and finally watched it.
Just watch it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. The only way you won't is if your heart is already dead.
How It Ends (2018)
How It Ends... did they forget to add ? at the end of the movie title ??????
This movie triggered me... it's called "How It Ends" but does not have one. This reminded me of The Sopranos finale.
Avoid this trash like it's a dumpster fire... go re-watch a good movie...
* I rarely write review for movies. I felt obligated to warn others, so they can save nearly 2 hours of their life.
Luke Cage (2016)
Good in certain parts and atrocious in others
I had high expectation from Luke Cage because it's current rating is 8.6. I liked Mike Colter that played Luke Cage. I think he's a good actor and his acting is believable.
Theo Rossi the guy that played Shades was atrocious. His attempt at trying to sound sinister and a bad ass was laughable. His acting was as bad as his voice. Definitely one of the reasons that made me dislike this show.
**** SPOILER **** The middle of episode 12 when Luke Cage was giving his speech in the police station was one of the most cringe worthy things i've seen in a long while.
Yoga Hosers (2016)
New low for Kevin Smith
Love Kevin but if he makes stuff like Yoga Hosers he shouldn't be surprised why he's being trolled about the movie.. Even a blind man could tell you this movie sucks with all the puns in the movie and saying "abooout" a million times thinking it's somehow funnier each time it's said.. Even Kevin knew this movie won't be liked and he had trash and had to give people a disclaimer that lots of people will hate it and the ratings would be bad.. I know this is Kevin's experimental phase which is a good idea on paper but you're running the legacy you've previously earned with Clerks and etc...
It's easy for you to get back the money for the investors because the main reason why people view it is during your movie tour because you talk to them about the movie before and have a Q&A at the end which is why the fans suffered through the movie so they can talk to you and be blinded by Kevin's holiness and secretly some if not most of your die hard fans are lying to them self that they liked it.
I'm not a critic but a fan and paid my hard earn cash to watch this to be entertained.. came out disappointed and felt like someone stole money from my pocket and hit me on the head with a hammer and I got knocked out and lost 1 hour and 30 minutes of my life that I'll never get back which is a lot worse than the the money that was stolen Kevin's writing has clearly gone down the hill so here's a tip... try making more movies with scripts that wasn't written by you. It's been awhile since you've made a movie that people like. Read more scripts from fans or try to collaborate with other screenplay writers that you like although it's going to get other to work for you will all your flops.
BTW just wondering if Smith is losing his fan boys and is trying to tap into the stoner market because that's what he always talks about that during any interviews he does
Jue di tao wang (2016)
Another failed Chinese copying attempt at making a blockbuster sequels like Shanghai Noon and Rush Hour.
One of the worst movies I've seen this year... actually it's more like this past decade. It's pretty obvious that a bunch of people were paid to give this a rating of 4/10 or better.
I like Jackie Chan but the stunts in this movie is beyond horrible, I guess you can't really blame Jackie because he's 62 years old.
Another failed Chinese copying attempt at making a blockbuster sequels like Shanghai Noon and Rush Hour.
Johnny Knoxville and Jackie Chan had zero chemistry, it felt like the both of them only agreed to make this movie after they saw the amount of zeros that was written on their paychecks
Suicide Squad (2016)
Seriously 6.9?
I wanted to love this movie so much, especially after watching the trailer that had Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. That was the best trailer I've seen in a long time. Which is why this movie was such a disappointment.
How did this movie get a rating of 6.9? Everyone that voted high for this movie is insulting other movies that actually deserves a good rating. This movie reminded me of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. At least some people were fooled for awhile till some time passed for them to realize it was a mistake.
Gave this two stars... one because I like Margot Robbie and two for the effort of trying to making a good DC movie, even though they failed miserably.
Come on DC, you need to catch up to Marvel.
