Judwaa 2 (2017)
Worst Movie of the Year
*This movie is a Ctrl C + Ctrl V of the classic Judwaa.* Varun Dhawan proves to be an annoying on screen presence while his so loving dad (David Dhawan) centers the whole movie on his son. I feel sorry, but I can't stop myself from taking crap about this film, because it is CRAP, and so I'll save my energy and another dose of mental illness trying to recall this movie.
Wonder Woman (2017)
Among the Bests
Wow Wonder Woman just blew me away. The casting was great especially Gal Gadot, Cris Pine, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen. And also, the decision to use WW1 backdrop and how well it was portrayed was just perfect.
The movie has a raw feel to it which makes it extra special. Not a moment will go by where you'll think they tried too hard to fit in the humor, it all comes as natural as natural can be. There is a lot of little moments in the movie that can be appreciated like for example the dancing in midst of war, the romance between Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor. Moreover, the action alone can be a driving factor, which makes me want to watch this movie again and again. Its one like, that we've never seen before.
Yes, this movie is not perfect, it has few, a few CGI issues which I think all big action movies have in common (including Marvel movies as well), however, with Wonder Woman its handled really well.
I honestly appreciate the hard work and passion that went behind making this movie possible. Some of the people to credit will be Petty Jenkins (wonderful director), Zack Snyder (for having good vision for these movies) and the screen writers. Wonder Woman is a "mustsee" movie on big screens.
Bãhubali 2: The Conclusion (2017)
The most ambitious movie of Indian cinema
This is a must watch whether you enjoyed Bahubali: The Beginning or not. There is a lot of ambition and effort put into this movie and it all pays of (6 years is a lot of dedication for 1 movie). Both Bahubali movies attempt and achieve something that Bollywood has not yet achieved. Its the passion for a project, belief and trust they put into this.
Regarding the movie, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie (especially the first 2/3's of the movie. The suspense wasn't good enough as I was able to figure out why Katappa kills Bahubali (a question everyone asked after watching Bahubali: The Beginning). However, the buildup to that or the execution of that one scene was a work of a master- film- making. I was in love with the first 2/3rd of the movie. Yes there are scenes that are way over the top, especially the battle scenes and I forgive the movie for that. It's no mystery that the movie will be going to go over the top when the first movie already has those elements. I went to find the conclusion to the Bahubali story and I found it, I went to have a great time and hell yeah I had a great time with this movie.
P.S. I hope there is a remastered version of this movie in the future.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
There's a thing known as "Little Too Much"
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was packed with humor... and by that I mean "too much humor". There goes a saying that you spoil the cake by putting too much icing on it. Same happens with GotG Vol. 2. It seems that the main focus with movie was to cram in as much humor and quirky action into it as possible while forgetting about the script.
The story revolves around Star Lord and his Dad, while some other Guardians are just there to fill in the gap with humor and stupidity.
It was a bad experience watching this movie. Especially after much beloved Guardians of the Galaxy (the first one).
I hope they improve with GotG Vol. 3 (if there is plans for it).
Haider (2014)
Awesome Adaption...A Must Watch
This is one of a kind movie from Bollywood...Fantastic...Hider has much to offer to fans....I'd say it is something away from those bullshit Bollywood Action, Comedy, Romantic films.
A Must Watch...incredible performance and direction.
As Hamlet had quite disappeared from our minds so this is a perfect recall.
And if you haven't read the novel by William Shakespeare the this is a perfect chance for you... It's also quite different background and settings from Hamlet to Haider as it takes you away from those war movies to the world of guns and gangs....Make Your Choice Now...Go for Haider..
