Absolutley A-W-E-S-O-M-E.. Stick with it.

OK, so when I started this show I couldn't understand the hype. It was slow, predictable, boring. Mads Mickelson plays an amazing an believable Dr. Lecter. The real brilliance begins to take shape towards the second half of season one when it's twists and turns begin to throw us around. Sit back, switch your phone off, pay attention and enjoy... Because you are in for a hell of a ride!

There are some films you go and watch, without any expectation. From the minute they start to the minute they end you're just in awe and suspense of what's maybe coming next. This is one of those films. Brilliant and such a powerful ending.

More like 'better call Mike'

Pretty entertaining show, obviously will never fill the boots of breaking bad. Alot of the story crosses from Jimmy to Mike and emphasisis the difficult relationships Jimmy has with those around him.

Brilliant acting.

Starts off OK but the scores suck and there's no story!
31 December 2021
Saw the trailer, read the reviews, this film was set to deliver. Ended up being just a bunch of scores that were evidently explaining what was happening in the movie in a very obvious and intense way. This made the film lose magic.

This is such a funny film without trying to be funny. You'll be so glad you watched it. Leo does an awesome job as a scientist trying to warn the world about a giant meteor about to hit earth!

Friend (2001)
6/10
Not bad but lacks depth.
17 December 2021
This is a story of 4 friends, 2 are students and 2 are criminals. We follow them through adolescence and into manhood and they rise up through the ranks of society. They meet up at random points in their lives and we see snapshots in time of them catching up etc. Its not necessarily a bad film, we just never find out too much about what the characters do in their day to day lives. The character plots are Spread a bit thin so the plot jumps quickly. Example of of this is when one minute the boss is a hardcore up and coming gangster, the next he's a druggie, next scene he's all clean again and he's super powerful!

Warning: Spoilers
Man wakes up in bathroom on the floor and goes about his day as if nothing happened. Randomly has a few panic attacks before returning home and finding a injured body. Takes the boy to hospital and continues around town for a while then goes back to hospital..... Then it's the end... Pretty pointless.

This film tries way too hard to be too many things.

Warning: Spoilers
This film in general is very entertaining, it's got action, drama, gadgets and gorgeous locations. Sadly the unfunny one liners, over the top acting and convoluted storyline is really where its let down. It's also full of plot holes and impossible scenarios but nethertheless it's an enjoyable watch. But please for goodnessake just give up with the cheesy jokes. And stop trying to make all the characters funny.

By example we have Q, whose making dinner for his boyfriend when bond walks in and ruins it as he wants him to look at a device that a scientist has shat out of his arse. Q asks him "do you know where this has been"? And bond says.. "everywhere I'd imagine"

Whilst kitting bond up to save the world Q also accidentally opens a. Drawer to a tea set instead of bonds KIT and goes... Whoopsie.. CRINGE!!!!

We have M who is totally stressed out and doesn't appear to know what to do. He literally stands and says for f***s sake.

The other characters cast a shadow over the main man bond by basically trying way too hard to be 'funny'. Give up.. M give bond his mission and send him on his way! Q give bond his gadgets and send him on his way, bond go and save the world!

And as for the person who plays madeline Swan seriously go back to acting school girl!

Original story, pretty bad acting, full of plot holes.

Warning: Spoilers
Story about a mother/wife/PhD student who despite seeming to have money issues lives in a super nice property with her son and loser husband. This man apparently can only work for one employer (his brother in law) and never gets paid, due to the recession. She is randomly offered £42k to whore herself and desperately wants to give it a go trying to pursuade her husband to agree to which he reluctantly does. The acting is painfully crap. But it does spark the question of what would one do in their situation if you were hard up for cash and how would it effect everything around you..this keeps the viewer somewhat glued to the screen to find out what happens.

Expected more after hearing all the hype.

Warning: Spoilers
If you're into Sci fi then I'm sure this is amazing. After trawling through the first season however it effectively boiled down to a slow drawn out predictable story of a young girl with telekentic powers, a dark parallel universe and some alien beast...that's about it. Cinematography is excellent and has some nice nostalgic themes of the 80s but I was expecting some twists and turns along the way which never emerged. Season 2 follows on from this with no real development just girl still doing telekinesis and boy having flash backs to parallel universe... Give it a go if you want for an easy watch but dont expect much.

Still digesting it.

Unsure whether to rate this movie or not. On the one hand Its stylish, funny, sexy and interesting. On the other, the story is almost so full on and in your face and obvious it leads little to the imagination and takes away any mystery or dazzle to the storyline... The best way I can explain it is someone coming up to you and flat out asking to sleep with you in the most obvious way possible. There's no mystery, no build up. It just feels like it's so in your face.

Awesome music, shame about the film.

Take the beatles music out and this is a lame flat love story of boy fancies girl. The music and singing is brilliant, the film could have been brilliant.. But sadly it fell flat.

Korean cinema once again at its absolute finest!
2 May 2021
Brilliantly evolving storyline which will keep you guessing to the very end credits! This is a bit of a slow burner so stick with it and you won't be dissapointed.

The thing I love about Korean movies is its always the subtle moving story that ultimately builds to an amazing ended. Nuff said give it a go.

Movie with a bit of everything.
24 April 2021
The movie is quite interesting as you follow along an elusive and obscure path of mysterious people acting convoluted and wierd.

Climax was a bit of a let down when you find out why they are doing what they're doing and then by the end it's a bit flat. I don't know the story starts off really intriguing but then it just seems to lose momentum.

No real significance to African Americans either.. But that's just the way it is.

Good film but expected more
18 April 2021
After reading the reviews about this film being a tear jerker I was waiting... And waiting... And waiting for it to hit me, but it never came.

No doubt the film is visually artistic and stunning to watch, whilst drawn into the characters believable personas as they magnetise towards each other. But then it ended.. And that was it.

Warning: Spoilers
This is an appalling movie. The jokes are absolutely terrible, the story is absolutely whack. 2 talented salesmen lose their jobs, end up (by choice) at a Google internship with a chumped up bunch of little brats with zero social skills. These once talented salespeople undergo a bunch of tests they're completely unqualified for! I mean it's just CRRIIIIINNNGGGGGEEEE!!!!!!

Warning: Spoilers
So while recovering from surgery I thought I'd chuck an easy film on and sit back with a cup of tea and boy am I glad I wasn't looking for anything taxing as this has got to be the biggest load of crapola ever! Firstly a boat that takes divers would notice if 2 people wernt on it because they do something called roll call. Second, it they've been at sea for so long they have well just swum to the boat. Third, the acting is totally crap. Give it a miss.

Artistically shot with one if the most beautiful sound tracks ever, this film is a must see!!! Was on the edge of my seat right the way up to the climatic ending. The chemistry between the two outlaws was absolutely perfect. Addressing current affairs.

Decent, artistic, predictable
29 December 2020
Artistically shot film, charged with emotion and violence. The relationships of the mother and sin really draw you in and you can't help but feel for each character on a deeper level. Throughout the film however leaves little to the imagination and you do somewhat feel like the storyline is absolutely spelled out to you.
