Queens (2021)
As bad as 'Star"
This show is so bad on so many levels. Bad writing, acting, directing. Biggest turd on TV. It's like 'Star' 20 years later. Brandy and Eve can't even save this steeping pile of horse manure.
The Sound of Music (1965)
A classic in any era
This movie has infectious songs, a wonderful storyline and just an all around wonderful movie that will never become outdated. As heartwarming as it is serious, you will be singing these songs as a child as well as with your children and grandchildren.
If You Could See What I Hear (1982)
Inspiring and humorous
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I wish it was on cable or out on DVD so I could watch it again. I'm curious as to how the ratings average is 6.8 when there isn't a rating below 7.
Joe Pera Talks with You (2018)
Terrible
I don't get the high ratings. I don't think I laughed, or smiled for that matter, once. So boring it could put an insomniac to sleep.
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004)
Awful
I'm a big Will Ferrell fan, but I just could not get in to this movie. My wife loves it. Just not funny.
B Positive (2020)
Misses on crucial points
I've been on and off dialysis for over 40 years, starting when I was 12 and the one thing that this show could help dialysis patients with is showing the scars on their arms from the treatments, which they don't. For God's sake at least show bandages on their arms. I don't care if you make jokes about it, but show it.
Fast Times (1986)
God awful
The casting in this is atrocious. One of the things that made the movie so great was the casting and the chemistry that cast had. This cast has zero chemistry. It's a wonder it even lasted 7 episodes.

Chad (2021)
As bad as Full Frontal
I thought no show besides Full Frontal could be as unfunny and stink worse than dog crap, but again TV network execs prove me wrong. Shouldn't it be a hint to TBS that when the promos are awful and 1000's of people hate it that it's time to bring the axe.....hard. Please tell me the idiot who green lit this is fired.
300: Rise of an Empire (2014)
A cartoon for the ages
Too much CGI. It looks like a couple actors placed in a cartoon. Too difficult to watch for me.
Sleeping Dogs Lie (2018)
Good cinematography
Armando gets caught cheating on his wife Eleni with Luna the secratary.
Eleni kidnaps the two of them in hopes of getting the password for a secret account Armando set up under Luna's name holding money stolen from a Japanese mob client.
The premise of this movie is decent, however certain scenes drag on and some of the twists don't make sense. I did like the cinematography and the three lead actors were decent.
Cinemax Comedy Experiment: But Seriously Folks (1986)
Garry Marshall interviews 3 veterans of stand-up comedy
For those of you who appreciate the old days of stand-up comedy, this is a must add to your collection. Shecky Green, Jan Murray, and Corbett Monica each tell wonderful stories from the days of performing in the Catskill Mountains to the present time. Not only what it was like performing back in the 50's and 60's, but stories of everyday life and what it was like to hang out with other nubile comedians of the day like Buddy Hackett. As a kid growing up in the 70's, I was a huge fan of old time comics like Jan Murray, Alan King, Jack Carter, and Buddy Hackett, to name a few, and these were the guys that made me want to be a stand-up comedian. I recommend this for anyone who is a comedy purist.
The Goodbye Girl (2004)
Not nearly as good as the original
I loved the original, so I was very excited when I heard about the remake. I adore Patricia Heaton and being a hometown boy, I like Jeff Daniels. However, there is absolutely no chemistry between Heaton and Daniels. Elliot is supposed to be a struggling actor, which Dreyfus played to a "T". He had that scraggly, avant garde actor appearance. Jeff Daniels is way too clean-cut. Mason and Dreyfus are closer in height whereas Daniels is 6'3" and Heaton is 5'2. Completely awkward. Lastly, with the amazing screen chemistry was between Dreyfus and Mason, not to mention the fantastic performance by Quinn Cummings, I think this remake was doomed from the onset. It didn't help that TNT showed the original before airing the remake. Dreadful.
