Lured in by the reviews
23 November 2020
Unfortunately one of those where I was lured in by the 5.6/10 review. No horror film is perfect, but this isn't a horror film, I'd find it hard to even call it a film.

It's not good, you'll realise that within the first two minutes, the terrible acting and dialogue. The camera work is shoddy, and it appears that whoever made the film has just discovered they can include filters whilst editing. (They include a lot)

We hoped that if we just stuck with it, there might be some comedic value in it, apart from one quote that made us laugh, that was it. No build up, no real conclusion

It is very much what you'd expect of student film. There was one or two shots, close up macro/focus shots that actually looked great, but they're so good they might just be stock footage and someone else's work.

Please avoid this.

Living Hell (2008 TV Movie)

Good Film, it was like a copy of Evoultion
27 July 2008
Warning: Spoilers
The film itself had a good storyline, but the "organism" that grows i felt was almost a copy of the same one used in evolution in both appearance and how the creature grows.

The acting was good at times but during a scene when a helicopter blows up looks awful as they get "blown" down by the explosion and it looks really really superimposed and in my mind quite tacky.

All in all the film did not suck like most films in this genre, although i probably couldn't watch the film again as it is not one of the films you can watch again and again.

I would recommend people to watch this film as it was quite good and if they liked evolution they may or may not like this really does depend of their preferences.

The films ending was a bit cheesy both characters walking off into the sunset together with an army convoy driving toward them to pick them up.
