Indian Summers: Episode #1.1 (2015)
Disjointed
I was confused by about 90% of what was going on because there's zero back stores for any of the people in this and they keep jumping around from person to person and storyline to storyline without any explanation of whose people are or any of their backstories at all. The woman with her son and husband and he's Indian girl are especially confusing. Why do I want to watch stories about people that I know nothing about at all and the entire first episode does really nothing to explain any thing about them except for the main blonde woman. Then there's random horrible singing by the older blonde host and random fornicating and the one woman is wearing a dress so low that 90% of her boobs are popping out which is ridiculous and would have never happened in that era.
La catedral del mar (2018)
Sadistic woman hating tripe
I absolutely and positively refuse to watch anything that preys on and distinctly hates on females. From the very first couple moments there is brutal and horrifying rape and sexual acts. Then there is female nudity and brutality and violence. This does not count as entertainment. I don't care how you tried to sell it this is just messed up and wrong. These writers didn't know how to tell a good story and just wanted to focus on the most brutal and heinous aspects of human nature. I did not and will not watch this beyond episode 1 and I cannot believe the reviews calling this a masterpiece and amazing. Is this really what modern humans are like? Rape murder and brutality just oh so entertaining? Disgusting. I wish there was a -1000 rating.
Fallout (2024)
F bomb of a show
Saying the f word every 3 words does not make your show edgy and cool. Swearing is not replacement for dialogue. Anyways,I've been a hardcore fan of the games for many many years and played everything from three to 76 and fallout shelter lol. I really really wanted to like that show but considering it was on Prime and the serious failure of other video game to TV adaptions I didn't have much hope and I really wasn't surprised when it was not that great and then happily surprised when it blossomed after episode 3. The show is excessively violent in the first episodes,to the point where it's not enjoyable to watch. It's a lot different playing a fake cartoonish looking video game and knowing that everything that you're doing in it is not real, and video game violence doesn't have the same visual and emotional impact as seeing a real life person's head exploding. That may be the world that they live in but there's no reason to watch it as "entertainment", it's just savage.. Not to mention it's an extremely lame excuse for not writing good stories and dialogue and just being like oh we'll just have them explode or be gutted that'll be fun right? Umm no.. Don't get me wrong the props, stages ,CGI and the power armor are great and accurate. Why is the brotherhood only men? Why is the brotherhood only men, it's not in the game. Why is there no trace of vault girl? I like the lead woman as she's so innocent and derpy that it's very comical and I like the ghoul, he's complicated ,he used to be good but he's turned so bitter/evil after living so long , being mangled, losing his family and knowing the truth. There's also the dark humor which I appreciate because that is a large part of fallout ,although it could be more dark funny and less goofy, but at least it's there. Maximus, siiighhhh. It's funny but he's also so annoying. The giant sack they haul around really made me laugh, over encumbered! They also made a mistake with the animals because they aren't bald /mutated but I do like the fact that they used real animals rather than animating them but they aren't accurate. If the second season is like episodes 4-8 then I'll watch it.
Fallout: The Target (2024)
F word city!
The best part is maximus carrying around the huge sack XD He's overcombered lol!
The acting seems good but they said the f word soooo many times in this episode there was barely any actual dialogue... It's sooooo trendy to swear, wow so edgy! And more excessive violence, boorringgg!
Idk why the ghoul guy is so evil. They portrayed him as a loving good father before the bomb. He killed the puppy.. Just why :( the dog couldn't die in the games for a reason! Boo to the creators. Somehow i still seem to like his character, not because he's good but because he's an interesting character you like to dislike. Maximus clearly has a luck build cuz he ain't got any intelligence points.
The American West (2016)
Hollywood's version of the West
This show should have known that Americans take their history very seriously and even the average citizen is going to root out dates that aren't exactly right or information inserted that wasn't historical fact but based on rumors or hearsay or what people thought. As a Canadian I can give less of a F And I don't know any of this history anyways and so I found the show interesting, quite a high production value and entertaining. The only thing that really made me laugh was Hollywood's version of wild West outlaws are scruffy neck beard blond guys.. Lmao. In fact even a lot of outlaws back then would have been mostly clean shaven,or a mustache or facial hair groomed. I'm sure some of them let themselves go while they are on the run or hiding out but even that was back then had some sort of grooming standards lol. Billy the kid was not a short-haired blonde guy with a scruffy neck beard. He had somewhat long , curly brown hair and no facial hair. Jesse James had light brown or dark blonde hair fairly short. #bantheneckbeard! Also it's very maleist, there was lots of prominent women in the West that changed history and made impacts but they only talk about the men . Sigh.
The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023)
Just silly
Oh wow this movie made my head hurt with how stupid it is. The people leaving reviews about how dumb it i aren't wrong at all lmao. What was the point of bringing Draculas little snack pack girl along if he would just going to eat every single person and animal on the ship? And to mention she was just buried under some dirt or something and barely alive so what good would she be to feed off of? Huh? You can't use someone as a juice box and drain them off blood.. Blood takes months to replenish and you can't survive with that much taken lol. And at the rate he's going everyone would most certainly be dead before they got to London. So tell me how does Dracula expect to get to London in one piece if he eats the entire crew and leaves the boat afloat in the middle of the ocean going nowhere? XD He's just going to fly thousands of miles to land? Oh wait he can't be out during the day.. the more crew he eats the less can run the ship. Umm giving someone a blood transfusion when your blood type doesn't match would most certainly kill them pretty fast! I can see that in the beginning they might think that some of animals went crazy or maybe that the dog got rabies and started attacking all of them but like the guy said how would a dog open locked doors and cages Lol. (Tiny bit of logic in the whole movie) No one listens to the girl that they need to get off the ship. She barely does any thing to explain herself or to prove her point. They all decide to search the ship in the middle of the night even though they just witnessed the guy who was infected burning to death in the sunlight. Sun=good, night=bad. You know what I decided to do when the ship was being attacked by a monster and everyone is dying? I decide to take zero supplies and row away in the middle of the night! Heh suckers, no one thought of that! Oh wait.. r.i.p. Draculas noises make me laugh, he's not scary at all. Finally they decide to fight back, at night! XD.
Outlander: The World Turned Upside Down (2022)
What the actual f did i just watch?
Here they gave me hope for the season because there was actually a couple decent maybe even good episodes in a row and then all the sudden this bs? Why does Claire continue to ether herself when she's been through so much and it always made her tougher and never broke her but all of a sudden the last little while it is..huh? Why did they leave her sick and uncovered for hours or even days? So freaking strange! And they just left her unattended as well? There would have been someone with her nearly constantly wiping the sweat from her and keeping an eye on her. Where the heck was Bri this entire time? Jamie wasn't doing it? Huh? Makes no sense. There's no way in hell that Claire would even for a second believe that Jamie had done that with melva! She said it herself that they had been through things that melva couldn't even imagine but yet she had doubt in her heart right away.. What? And Claire is a surgeon in a very experienced doctor She would know that a cesarean would not work with fetus that tiny.. Not to mention the mother was already dead. Oh that is just utter ridiculous nonsense! Drama for the sake of drama. Yuck. Really bad writing. Just as bad as that magic appearing buffalo that did zero damage to Brianna lmao.
Outlander: Temperance (2022)
Too religious
I definitely liked some of the life lessons playing out in this episode and Jamie displaying what a good grandpa he is. Having to watch the brutal surgery of that guy's hand was just disgusting and pointless. I also actually hate the storyline of Fergus and marsley tearing each other apart. I don't know if this happened in the books but it's really awful to watch. It also doesn't really seem like fergus's character would do what he's doing, as he was raised to understand women and to care about the more feminine things in life. It seems like he would more likely talk to her about how he was feeling and try harder to be a better husband not turn into a complete coward. His entire childhood was based on showing how he was brave and that's why he lost his hand in the first place. He protected people he cared about and would be proud of his wife for doing the same for their family. He most certainly wouldn't neglect his children! I also don't understand well why she's trying to make melva her apprentice when marsly already is! Btw don't feed grown cats milk, it's not good for them.
Outlander: Allegiance (2022)
Babies are made in your stomach
One of the stupidest episodes of any TV show I've seen in awhile, not to mention disgusting! You know a show is bad when they have to make up utter nonsense drama that goes nowhere and then they add in pointless disgusting irrelevant sex scenes over and over. Ha ha it's so funny! The show used to be about love and romance and the reality of those things. They just bastardize it and destroy the characters! It's so upsetting to see Fergus and marsley destroy each other and then the producers try to force them together, it's so disgusting! That's not love. And if Claire is having nightmares those don't go away when you ether yourself.. They would most likely get more intense. Btw did you know that babies are made in the stomach as Claire said?
Outlander: Journeycake (2020)
Emotional rollercoaster
Oh wow this episode was such a rollercoaster, that only seems to go down.. And down...a better episode then some this season but still pretty bad. Why does everyone always look like they're speckled? Not sure that really counts as makeup but whoever does their makeup doesn't seem to know what they're doing. One episode they'll look normal then the next moment everyones been splattered with mud. It's supposed to be weathering from being outside and working? I don't get it. Also it seems like everyone's hairline It's almost exactly the same. But I suppose that's because they are wearing wigs and it's just more obvious in these seasons. And once again there's giant leaps to further the story instead of letting it naturally occur there has to be some over the top ridiculous drama. It's funny that guys wife sitting there says that she can read because her ma taught her, most of the population back then had very limited schooling and many of them couldn't read if they were from poorer backgrounds. It's quite unlikely that her husband would be able to read but yet he can because he has to read that her case is Dr rowlings and then somehow assume that that's her pseudonym. Not that her husband bought his medical equipment for her lmao. Or anything logical Siigghhh. Who the heck is 20 plus years old and makes their mother peanut butter and jelly sandwiches..umm..is Brianna 5? I also feel like Claire be the kind of person not to like peanut butter and jelly together but apparently she does. Such a normie thing. There's no darn way that a few men would risk coming into their home and kidnapping and hurting people she's with. They would face the wrath of the entire ridge.. More eccentric drama badly written. Light the cross and burn this episode.
Outlander: Mercy Shall Follow Me (2020)
Driving me nuts
So you're telling me that a wanted man that has been committing crimes for years and years ,around and in same town and his face has been on broad sheets and he was thrown in jail and he was arrested and nearly hanged and he still going around the same tiny town where everyone would recognize him and parading around as if he some sort of gentleman in public constantly with well-known figures of the community.. hahahaha 😂 wow. Insanely stupid. My five year old niece could of written something better. Oh wait and you're also telling me that this prominent lawyer and long-term acquaintance of Jamie's aunt just randomly believed that bonnets has a son that is her heir born from a random woman he laid with. Hahahaha my god. Oh and then bonnet is strolling along the entire coast of the sea randomly for no reason and comes along Claire and Brianna and ooh look Claire has once again completely forgotten how to defend herself..zzzzz... These utterly ridiculous insanely bad written episodes are a joke. I'm only finishing this season so that I can say I can completed it. Outlander died in season 3 when Claire did.
Mayfair Witches (2023)
I didn't immediately dislike it
I'm leaving this review after watching the second episode. Don't understand how everyone can be hating this but just laughing up the abomination interview with vampire remake.. I've read four or five and rice's books and they were dark, sensual and mysterious. The show is a tad mysterious but the main actress is playing an annoying ,dramatic ,childish boring person. I never read these books but you have to take the TV show for what it is whether you read them or not and her character is obnoxious and not heroine at all. Who curls up on their bed beside their mother like a 5-year-old? Or throws tantrums like a 10-year-old.. She's suppose to be mid 20s-30s? Chili's looks greasy and messy she's not a strong person in control of herself. Her contacts are also awful so are the mothers. The guy they picked to be the demon or shadow or whatever he's supposed to be is not attractive at all and that creepy haircut ew..i also hate he excessive gross sexual scenes. Anne Rice was a master at writing sensual, romantic and passionate romance/sex, this is just nasty and crude.overall the story plays out pretty well ,There's some drama and mystery to the show, There's some humanity and some dilemmas.
Outlander: Better to Marry Than Burn (2020)
Very bad writing
Some of season 4 was passable but season 5 has just slipped into complete and uttered delusional nonsense. Sign of bad writing is the character suddenly acts completely out of character and do things that they're personalities and previous backed stories would never let them do. People who don't understand emotions love relationships etc write these sort of things into shows and expect us to just bow and scrape and burst into tears at the grandiosity of it all! All the filler nonsense that happens back at Fraser ridge with Brianna and Roger. Zzzz.. oh look more nonsense about how Rogers a failure of a man and pathetic and can't live up to Jamie.. My lord give it a rest. The scene with the over-the-top dramatic dandy guy is just bizarre and then the scene with Jamie insulting and belittling Claire which suddenly makes her want to jump his bones in a filthy stable is just gross and strange as heck. Ruined this show.
Outlander: Perpetual Adoration (2020)
Aww Jamie
Oh Jamie just when you think you can't get any cuter it goes around murdering and burning people to cover up his crimes, just precious! Hahaha what the heck even happened?! What's with the religious nonsense in this episode? Claire has never been known to be religious in her entire life and never mention God once that I recall and if she did it was in general reference not that she was super religious. Seems to be creeping up more and more in these newer seasons. Same with Jamie, always bringing up god and that was never really a thing in the series. Everyone back then was Catholic or some sort of Christian but it wasn't something they played upon and harped about. Rogers and Brianna's drama seems to be dragging on and on..
Outlander: The Company We Keep (2020)
Filler episode
Let's continue to push how much Jamie doesn't respect or think Roger is a man. Even though in the past episodes I highly doubt that Jamie would have dealt with things all that much different. But let keep that a recurring theme because it's super interesting to see Jamie put him down over and over. Then there's a whole nonsense about these two and their love bs. No.. One.. Cares... And then the twins and their random excuse to take clear back to Fraser's ridge. Or how about all the random drinking and dancing and singing that has nothing to do with anything! Nothing happens of any importance or vitality or interest in this episode at all. Zzzz.
Outlander: Free Will (2020)
Revolting
One of the most bizarre disgusting unpleasant creepy and badly written episodes of any show I've ever watched. It started out recently normal and then dive down into this extremely horrific brutal dark disgusting and revolting horror story for no reason whatsoever besides shock value. Outlander is no one for its intense scenes but it always hits some sort of plot to move the forward the story to invoke emotional reaction until realistic stories of the characters. This is one of these episodes that just doesn't make you feel good watching it not because it's hard to watch and it's emotional human and relatable but because it's so repulsive I'm necessarily discussing and ridiculous. You can really see when a show has writers that are extremely bad and when they can't understand emotion versus rock value and what should be put on television in which never be talked about or told. I skipped a lot of it This isn't entertainment.
Outlander: Down the Rabbit Hole (2018)
Bumbling idiots
My God I hate this episode. Brianna and Roger are such morons in this episode. I really dislike the actress they picked play Brianna as well she's not a very good actress and even though she gets slightly better as time goes on her character and the way she portrays her just don't go together. And in this episode she really shows what a spoiled upper middle class dummy she is. It always made me mad that Claire and Frank didn't teach her some resemblance of logic practicality and survival skills. Considering the way Claire is and what she cares about and Frank's job and his personality. Their daughter turns out to be a clueless spoiled dummy. I always liked marsley so much better and the actress plays her so much better. I thought that she fit the role of Claire's and Jamie's daughter so much better. Which is kind of an insult considering her mother and the background there.. And yes I understand that Jamie didn't raise Brianna but she has absolutely no characteristics from him genetically at all besides red hair which by the way is a mutation and only partly genetic, so it's more like a 90% chance that the children won't have the same color of hair. But in this episode with Roger, you'd think that if you went back in time to look for someone you would ask around where you thought they might have gone and spend weeks or months searching for them locally rather than immediately jumping to conclusions that she went across the sea to the US. Just imagine that that Roger would run into the worst scum of the Earth and board his ship to go to America. Just like how it almost Scotland Brianna is saved by Leary.. a script writers must think there's about six people who live in this area lmao. Youd think Brianna might dress appropriately for the weather and bring better supplies and tools to help her with her journey. But Brianna proves once again what an idiot she is and how her parents really didn't teach her life skills at all. Maybe it was different in the books and maybe it was the directors and script writers choice to make her like this..but whatever it was I honestly can't stand it! Claire and Frank are very intelligent capable down to earth people. Frank in the '60s is portrayed as such a snotty uppity jerk. Quite the vast contrast from the way he was showing to be in the first couple seasons. And of course in this season they have to do everything so it goes wrong. Unfortunate series of events rather than her coherent flowing excellent story. The only redeeming qualities are the flash backs which help fill in the story from the past a bit. Going to Harvard together, sharing an office.. What the crap? Cringe,is she 5 years old.
Outlander: Death Be Not Proud (2023)
Just plain stupid
First couple episodes gave me hope this season might be decent but it quickly fell back into the same stupidity as the last two seasons.. Outlander ,a series of unfortunate events! Where everything that can go wrong does go wrong and a logical nonsense prevails throughout! Come watch (or rather don't) the ridiculous nonsense written by a 20 year old clueless zoomer with zero life experience, logic or understanding. Everything from the way the fire started to them stocking and killing the poor old woman, to them discussing where to build again. Which makes absolutely no sense to build elsewhere where you've already dug a seller and have a foundation.. things didn't happen within a couple months there, it would take years to build a house like they had. Let's pick out our scraps of stuff out of the fire but not build on top of the foundation we already made. Or when Jamie and Claire are talking about what they should do with his body when he does and she says send him back to Scotland? Yeah okay but you couldn't ship bodies anywhere back then because the ship voyage took months and there was no refrigerated cargo hold. Siigghh. What's with Jamie suddenly astral traveling lmao..uhh what. Is that the lazy writer's way of telling us what's going on with Brianna and Roger without them having to film it.? Also random convenient gold is convenient. Why is Jamie suddenly so religious? He was briefly shown praying once then this season he's doing it constantly and talking about god. Hahaha imagine being so dumb to entrust a ton of gold to the memory of a four to five year old.. Wow. I give up.
Outlander: America the Beautiful (2018)
Outlander slipping..
Immediately exposition from claire. "He killed a man" no real explanation. Why bother filming that scene at all? Why didn't you just have these two unimportant boring characters die in the shipwreck? They were shipped off to the colonies when Jamie was taken by Grey lol why and how are they even in the show? Are they trying to fill some gap of Angus and Rupert? It ain't workin! RaaanDuMm SsinnggiNng foorr noo reaSON! So random and out of place, it's not touching it's strange. Young Ian has some bizarre PTSD freak out about Geillis. People were tough as nails back then and even if he was just a young man they lived in a brutal cruel world and he wouldn't been horribly traumatized by seeing a naked woman bathing and having sex with her. Siigghh. Ooh i get it, the whole Hayes thing was just so that Stephen bonnet could be found in the wagon and get acquainted with them. What a terrible written set up that was. Ugh. Why would they help him? Some random words and these world traveled smart people help some lying thief. Heh heh oh ya time for a love scene because that makes sense after losing their friend and nearly getting caught in the rode. That's totally how human emotions work.. then it's time to brag about how amazing and fabulous and freeee Murica is, cuz that's what a scott and a English woman would do XD then there's the end...siighh. This episode barely has any redeeming quality.
Outlander: Uncharted (2017)
Good and bad
All the people putting reviews leaving the horrible sexist remarks about Claire and her girl scouts is just horrible. She came from a time when that would have been a lot more common knowledge and she was in the army and she was a nurse.. They teach you survival skills because you have to know it to survive lmao... Plus she was naturally interested in that sort of thing and she had a different upbringing. If this was a man in the show doing the same thing people wouldn't question it at all urg.. most of this episode isn't bad if you take it for what it is of course the circumstances how she got there is just ridiculous but the main storyline is pretty good but the forced exposition of the characters once they're on the beach is just bad. Also it makes zero sense how somehow they reached that island before the other ship and then somehow have time to stay there well the tar for the mast hardens and then somehow beat other ship to Jamaica? What? Then during the wedding they speak openly about sexual stuff, that kind of thing wouldn't be blurted out and they would never do that in public..They tried to make relatable to a younger audience or men watching or perverts? I don't get it.. The reunion between Claire and Jamie on the ship is funny and cute tho. Over all it's a 7-8.
The Secret: Dare to Dream (2020)
The secret is to be selfish
The concept of the secret is indeed a thing but this movie is just bad.. There's no way that this woman who has a boyfriend and a family would be so insanely trusting of this random guy who's overly helpful and friendly. You definitely are not poor if you live in a big house with a huge yard ,a garage ,have a car and your house is full of toys and things. Both her and her teenage daughter have expensive cell phones, and apparently her daughter doesn't work even tho she's old enough. Whoever wrote this clearly doesn't know the definition of being poor. You can't afford pizza but you can live in a big house with giant yard? Lol what..Oh look how stereotypical it is The women are cluless women and the one boy knows about tools and fixing things! Barf. She knows that she lives in a hurricane prone area and there's one coming and her and her boyfriend do absolutely nothing to try and board up her house or protect things from the storm. The guy puts the envelope in the mailbox during a hurricane and he clearly knows its going to blow away.. Her boyfriend is a good guy, kind, giving and takes care of her and the kids but somehow that's not good enough for her. Her boyfriend doesn't call her or come over immediately to see if they're okay after the storm but the guy she just met yesterday comes over to bring her coffee? What lol. She lets him stay alone at her house with no concerns.. Doesn't lift a finger to help him at all lol. If grandma is rich why didn't she pay the roofer. She keeps saying to the guy I don't understand what's happening here? And I keep thinking me either.. what kind of selfish person starts a dramatic fight at her daughter's 16th party? Geez. Apparently the moral of the story is the only reason you ever do anything or focus on your wants is to get things ,items.. Not to be a better person or help other people or do good in the world nope just stuff like an Apple computer. God bless Murcia!
Outlander: Crème de Menthe (2017)
The poor writing begins
Ugh this episode bothers me so much. I didn't mind it so much when it came out and the hype of Outlander being back and Jamie and Claire being back together kind of clouded me to the details of episode and how you can see the ridiculous poor writing starts filtering into the series. I have no idea about the books or how this played out in them or even if it was part of it but that has really no effect on us episode because it was written for TV and it should have been written better. Watching it a second time you can tell how ridiculous Claire acts and she is a fairly logical woman and she understands the workings of the law work back then yet she insists on trying to save a man that she knows would not survive a procedure like that back then.. urg. Was it really all just a setup so she'd have to go to the apothecary and meet margets brother so they can then again run into each other in Jamaica? There's probably a million ways you could have that come about rather than this ridiculous nonsense that she does with this guy who tried to kill her. It feels forced and over the top stupid rather then organic. Same with the way the pamphlets are discovered and the shop burns. :(
Genie (2023)
Uncaring irresponsible simp father goes on selfish Christmas binge
The acting in the beginning is so cringe and people don't act like that in reality.. But it is a silly Christmas movie sooooo. Let's start.. any parent who doesn't immediately correct or discipline their child for swearing is obviously a bad parent. The origins of Christmas are not the birth of Jesus they don't know when Jesus was born it..originated as a pagan holiday in several countries including the Norse and Greeks. Only giving things to people and using them to manipulate them into liking you is the pretty much the epitome of being selfish.. And how is changing his entire apartment going to please his wife when it's not really what she wants and he's just doing it to get her back? She would probably just think so you lost your job and you're spending all of this money? So how are we going to live now?😆That kind of stuff will never work!! Seems to me like he should move on and be single for a while and then be with someone who has mutual interest rather then trying to buy everyone's love. You know there's millions of copies of the Mona Lisa in people's houses all over the world..is it realistic? No. Is it funny because he starts getting bad karma? Yes! XD i felt bad for the genie tho. I mean why would you even want to be free after being a genie? Unlimited power and fun and sure most of the people that she's put in slave to before were greedy and awful not just selfish like this guy but she's going to have to get a job and learn how the modern world works and try to afford to live in an expensive house in New York.. maybe freedom is worth that lol They really didn't do a good job of making him appear as if he'd learned his lesson or changed. Poor character development. The ending is cute tho. I love her popcorn purse!
Candy Cane Lane (2023)
Meh
Is it going to be a Christmas classic? No. Is it a cringy family Christmas movie? Yes. Did I laugh many times throughout it? Yes I did. Am I going to start calling those god-awful Christmas blow ups, blow up dolls? Yes I am. The actress didn't suit the role of his wife at all. The Elf pepper isn't very elfish, I've never seen one that size. She's not very holly and jolly, she strange and mean. Even if you're a demented elf you should be jolly lol. Her makeup is also gawd awful. Why do the lords leaping look like a korean boy band lol.
I wish they had used real animals or puppets instead of bad cgi. Specially the chickens, could of easily been muppets, except for the flying parts. The movie over all is too silly and childish, not cute and original like Shrek, it's just annoying. The mini people are just ultra cringe. There are some funny cliches like when they're talking about splitting up and horror movies the black person always dies first. Umm Kris kringle/st Nicholas isn't black, he was actually Turkish and became very popular in Europe but of course most people know him as a jolly white Dutchman. But well this movie is very colourful.
The Last Czars (2019)
Netflix ruins another one
Oh dear where do i even start.. okay so they have historians and scholars and so on talking about the actual history but every time they present the story with the actors they're acting like it's 2023.. And by the way wow all these Russian people sure sound British! Netflix doesn't even know what Russian people are XD. They have to use copious amounts of mostly female nudity to try and sell the terrible acting and writing. Because if you're cool you put the f word in every TV show and movie every 5 seconds and that makes it a good show! This was clearly written or produced by a zoomer straight out of college. I was interested in the history of it but I just couldn't stand the presentation of it . Yuck. Big pass! If you want historical entertainment I would watch the Empress.
